My Dad is friends with one of the guys who started the clothes company Roots. Back in '02 after they won the Cup there was an away game in Toronto. The day after the game, there was a party at one of the Roots stores that my Dad and I went to. They closed the store so it was basically the employees of the store, friends and family of the owners', the team, and us. It was great. Hull was walking around buying the whole store. Zetterberg and Lidstrom were hanging out in a corner just talking. I got pictures with a lot of the team. Here's a funny picture I got of Datsyuk:

My friends have had a few run-in's with Wings, unfortunately I haven't. One of my friends saw Lang at the Starbucks on Maple. Over the summer my other friend was leaving my house and stopped next to Yzerman at an intersection.

That's cool, it's always awesome seeing a player off the ice. Lang lives right by my friend in Birmingham. Last year I saw Rip Hamilton at Best Buy, I didn't say anything though.

Bertuzzi has some moves. It will probably be Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Bertuzzi when everyone is healthy.

I wouldn't call him physical in the sense that he's a big hitter. He's gritty. He's not afraid to go into the corners or into a crowd; he's willing to pay the price.

Yeah, the Calder-Lang-Franzen line looked good tonight. Makes me wonder if Babcock will want to break it up when Bertuzzi returns. Then again, that line could go cold by the time of Todd's return.

I doubt Howard will be ready for a full-time job next year. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dom back, barring any injuries or antics.

This is the type of adversity we had almost none of last season. It sucks, but it's good for the team.
