Oh, really? I didn't realize that. ZB40's point was that Bertuzzi sacrificed a season and has gone through a lot of grief for something accidental. There was no intent to break Moore's neck. By putting yourself out there as a player you are willing to take the risk of something like that happening. Heatley, on the other hand was being an idiot in a fast car and killed his teammate, yet he hasn't received nearly as much criticism as Bertuzzi has. Double standard.

Right, and Kopecky could turn out better than Iginla. What signs (and please don't pull stats out on me) has Hudler shown that he has a prayer at being better than Zetterberg? He's not a strong skater and has, well, deficiencies playing defense.

I dont have any problems with Cleary, but Williams is useless. The fact that you brought up his skill in the shootout further illustrates that.

I read on Spector's a first rounder and a player or prospect. If Williams and a first could get it done (which I doubt it could), I'd do it. Williams is garbage and the first is going to be low, as usual. -

No team like Phoenix or Florida would want Lang. He's a free agent next year. Has anyone thought about Dainius Zubrus? He's huge and is having a really good season. He's a UFA next year. -
Everyone's talking about the same list of guys (Tkachuk, Guerin, Bertuzzi, etc.) but Raffi Torres hasn't been mentioned. I've heard he's being shopped. He would bring a lot to the lineup. It would probably also mean the end of Williams in Detroit (I don't think they would get along well). Problem is he's not a UFA after this season so that drives his price up.

Ha, yep, I posted the same goal . Also uploaded his pass from the other night and his 100th career goal on Joseph. That goal from the playoffs last year was really underrated, IMO. It didn't get much attention but it was one of the best goals of 05-06.

I'm making a Zetterberg highlight video, but I'm going to wait until the end of the season to finish it. Wouldn't want to miss anything -- which would be really easy to do since he's tearing up the league right now.

Could it really be worse than having Jason "Non-Factor" Williams on the ice? That line has been absolutely stagnant on the ice lately, aside from the occasional turnover from Williams or Lang.

I agree on both counts. The fact that we have almost no scoring depth is pretty scary. Samuelsson's return should help that out and I really don't get why Babcock doesn't try Hudler on the second line.

I've thought about myself but no, the Wings aren't in a position to sell. Why? Because you have to go for it while you have a healthy Lidstrom at your disposal. He's not going to be around that much longer.
