Wow, I've been meaning to make a post about this since it happend a few days ago. The heat get Antoine Walker, James Posey, and Jason Williams in a 5 team deal involving 13 players, the biggest in NBA history. They gave up Eddie Jones for these 3 guys, which is unbelievalbe. Walker alone is better than Jones. The Pistons will have a hard time overcoming the heat, especially with a healthy and more mature Dwayne Wade. Hopefully we can acquire one of the rumored names, Finley, Houston, or Rose. I dont even know if that will be enough though. btw what do you guys think of the Garnett rumors?

Supposedly San Antonio, Detroit, Phoenix, and Miami are the front runners for Finley. I would LOVE to see him here. It's too bad Rose and Houston werent released, as it limits our options. I think Sprewell will end up here if we dont sign Finley.

I would say possible candidates to go along with Kolzig are Witt, Zubrus, and Fleischmann.

Per TSN If true, this is a good signing I think. He will be good for our previously awful playoff powerplay.

He also says Boston is interested in Belfour. This could mean 1 of 2 things.. 1.) Eklund has no credibility whatsoever. 2.) A 3 team deal between Toronto, Detroit, and Boston could go down. Thornton, Raycroft, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Belfour are some of the names that could be involved I guess.

Yup, I totally agree. I think he would be a good 1-2 year contract signing. Shanahan-Lang-Bondra Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom OR x-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Maltby-Draper-Yzerman Williams-Franzen-Mowers

I still think theres a chance he comes here, which I wouldnt mind because supposeldy finesse players will benefit from the new NHL. We would definately have to add grit either way though. I also wouldnt be surprised if we see Bondra here.
