Not sure, but we can usually see pretty easily by game one, the colors stand out against most teams. My favorite is when the opponent gets the brilliant idea of having a "white out", so that they will just swallow up all of the red apparel scattered all around the arena. Happens almost every year, which always makes me happy when I can have a better view of the amount of national support that the Red Wings still have.

Ugh I am happy that I will get all of the games without a problem, but I would much rather be able to listen to Mickey and company and get the FSD coverage that I paid whatever for with comcast. Not to mention the fact that any time there is a blues game I am just S.O.L. if it isn't national because I am supposedly in that market as well as Chicago... I am literally 10 miles from the Michigan state line, awful. I hate the stupid blackouts, I understand protecting the contract for the local stations, but NBC I guess I just dislike the way NBC covers the wings so much that I feel they are not entitled to their end of the contract haha. I just wish they would let the viewers decide, most would choose the National Channel anyways if they aren't wings fans. If the streams were reasonable in quality (I have had experience using them due to the St. Louis games) I would sacrifice the HD and have the computer hooked up to the TV, but I don't think I have ever found one that is good enough to watch if I have an alternative. I am going to the game Sunday, so I am going to make an extra >4 hour round trip just to move my slingbox to my sister's house who lives in the grand Rapids area. Maybe I am a little over-zealous, but I am a fan who wants to follow my team and you just can;t beat the FSD team are they biased? Of course, but so are all of the other team's affiliates, but they don;t have to suffer as bad when their game goes national, at least they get a fair shake at a minimum. I know a lot of fans share my sentient regarding NBC's coverage, and for the record I am a die-hard Notre Dame fan (please don't come at me UM and Sparty fans-- it is Red wings time...) anyways, I have every reason to like NBC's sports coverage and want it to be successful (and I typically don't have a problem with it besides Wings games) -- I simply can't stand the way they have been Red Wing bashing for the past 5 years. This is just a side note which simply reinforces the obvious bias that we as fans have had to endure for years.
