Telling the agent "if your client is signing with us for 5 years, he will get another guaranteed 5 year contract after that IF he signs under ..... - so basically it's a ten year contract but officialy it's only 5 years => caphit down ) -

How can you ? This team had everything and personally I loved everything about 2002 just the best year I've ever had add to that this tremendous team and it's the perfect storm. Holland should try to offer something creative meet player agents somewhere and discuss things like double contracts for top ufas to bring the caphit down.. As for trading I would be happy with us being sellers. -

It almost seems like forever since this team has dominated everyone oh the good old days. The sad truth is we might never see a team like the 2002 edition again. Bieksa would be a very nice veteran but I don't think he is available -

To be honest I have no clue. Given their demands for Miller I don't think Ott will come cheap. Think about a first and a top level prospect. Personally I would not pay that. Funny how other teams are getting desperate and already trying hardball in terms of offers and so the prices for Miller, Vanek Girardi and Callahan are coming down. -

The asset needed to get a guy like Kesler would be better served for a defensemen, if team Canada only proved one thing (they did proof a lot..), it's that defense wins championships. Currently we are only having three capable D man and we need a true number one guy more than offense. -

Well unless the Ps 4 is getting some nice games (Mortal Kombat and so on), not gonna switch. The voicecontrol thing is very funny, I'll never use voice controls and have them disabled immediately on my tablet. -

And I think some need to look at where this team is and what a high expensive rental does for the future. Answer not enough to warrant giving up on some promising young developing kids. This like last years deadline would be one where I'm happy with kicking the tires and standing pat if the rumored prices are true. -

Is Murray out of his mind a first and a top level! prospect for Steve Ott? Lol the Sabres better come to reality soon or Miller, Ott and Moulson are walking for zero in the summer. Same goes to Snow and his asking prices no one will give up a first top level and b prospect for 2 months of Vanek. -
This years draft pick could be the best one positionwise since forever so the only I'd trade that pick would be for a top defenseman coming back which won't happen.

The unbelievable Weiss has 2 goals and two assists so yes even an atrocious Clarkson is outscoring him and don't blame it on the injury Clarkson has missed a ton of time too. Clarkson at least brings an element of toughenss, physicality and intangibles Weiss doesn't do that. Anyway it is what it is, at this point all we can hope for is that Weiss turns it around.

Sweden looked shocked from the beginning, but still taking home Silver without so many great players is a huge accomplishment. Canada just turned it on when the games mattered, their defense was just out of this world. Hey Ed Snider I guess Stevie Y knows a bit about hockey now ey? -
