This one extra point coud would have been nice but I'm not so mad about the point more about the way, they've given it away. Having a PP with only 4 minutes to go and then sending out for offensive players was a disaster waiting to happen. At that point you play a shut them down type of PP where the whole attack is focused more on defense. Somoneone needs to tell Kronwall to focus on a shutdown role instead of playing forward especially at such an important point in the game. For whatever reason the Panthers seems to have the Wings number, which is hard to stomach I understand it against teams like St. Louis but the Panthers seriously..

That's not an easy save if you cover the right spot the opposing player will go high gloveside. Maybe monster could have tried to get his right leg out but that release was unbelievable quick. This play should have never happened though, the Pp unit needs to do a better job

odd man rushes are always 50 50 for goaltenders. The team could have done a better job in shutting them down How do the ******* refs miss such an obvious high stick? !

It's really nice watching the young guys play Sheahan is bringing something to the table this team has been lacking for far too long. The guy has great size and will only continue to fill out his frame one of my favourite young Wings already. I also love the way the Monster is playing so calm and just making the needed saves, no shut them down in the third

The two best teams ? Right now the Kings are not one of the two best teams they are behind the Blackhawks, St. Louis, San Jose and even the Avalanche. Who said they knew nothing about hockey ? Most of the comments were questioning the way the game was presented and all the other "activities" like beachball, red carpet...I would have said the same thing, if the WC would have had stuff like that it just doesn't belong there. The conditions should be awful, the players loved it and thats exactly how should be. If I go to my outdoor rink mother nature might provide tons of snow, rain or whatever and thats exactly how hockey used to be played before it turned indoor you know childhood memories something fans and players alike love.

Like I said no worries here everyone is entitled to an opinion and like I said I'm happy if the people there enjoyed it. The point about not knowing the difference is true but I think Quebec City deserves a team and it would be another slamdunk just like Winnipeg. Fully agreed I really love that style of play and as their success has shown it serves you incredible well. WTF nobody is talking s*** about California people are rightfully questioning how BEACHBALL and HOCKEY in the same area are fitting, why a red carpet is needed for a hockeygame. I love the experience of all 4 times of the year, winter being my favourite so thanks I enjoy shovelling snow and laying in front of the chimney when it's - 10 outthere.

No worries here and thats equally fine to me. Please don't get me started on Bettman, all I can say is 8.3 annually for being a complete who stands for everything, the sport isn't about... Do I care about these games, no but maybe I like to preserve the WC novelty and personally would be extremely sad to see it turning into a cash cow instead of a star. Also I do watch other teams play too and there are quiete a few I really like (Blues, Kings and the Bruins style) that being said though, I'm for sure more a DRW than a "whole league fan" because I think there are many markets more deserving of a team, than some current ones. If that's snobbery so be it.

It has nothing to do with snobbery just reality. Playing a season series while having a beach volleyball game next to it and rolling out a red carpet ? That's disgusting and I also can't understand, why the leaders of this damn league are caring more about people who aren't watching (non fans), than the people who are watching and enjoying the sport (fans) ? I'm also not gonna watch the Rangers and Devils, because it's equally stupid only difference are the more winterlike conditions but other than that, meh. Like we all know turning a "star" into a "cash cow" is not always the best idea and that's exactly what the NHL is doing, they are flooding the market with too much outdoor games and therefore killing it's novelty (star status). Personally I would prefer WC and heritage classic every two years instead of one.
