    Datsyuk concussion: To Return Tuesday

I'm so disappointed with Kennys NON response he had 5 freaking days to get some AHL tough guy and he did nothing, I guess the almighty PP should make them pay again? Maybe someone needs to hurt Z and Nyquist too in order for him to react, so disappointed. Yes, beating them on the scoreboard WOULD be nice but it won't be a statement jsut a win, statements are what the Isles did to the Pens Personally I will not be happy, till one of them is out with a concussion (starplayer), maybe Kronner is going to surprise us with kronwalling Karlson or Spezza. Get well soon Pasha, sadly your GM doesn't have the fire to get some people for your protection.

Shea Weber leaves game with Injury

There is not one team in this league, that wouldn't take weber. Imagine a pairing of Pietrangelo + Weber = insane having that said, even if it were possible as long as Z is the captain Weber would never be wearing this jersey.

    Datsyuk concussion: To Return Tuesday

Personally, this is a game - as mentioned before - where I don't care about the two points. I thought it would have been a statement game for this organization guess I was wrong again. Kenny didn't bring in a tough guy, so Neil (no matter the outcome) is still going to have some fun with the DetroitRedWings and if they dress Kassasian watch out it's not going to be pretty. Yes, two points are important but a statement game is the thing that's needed, because the NHL doesn't care - no surprised mind you - back in the days Koccur, mcCarty would have cleaned the floor with Cowen after what he did to the best player on this team.

What Does This Team Need More/Most?

s Just watch the videos of him training his eyes are screaming commitment and the massive arms are saying play clean Neil or else...

Having a monopoly means control and driver seat, because there literally aren't any other options. So why improve the product people have to use it no matter what. This is the biggest reason why monpolys are bad, they control the market no matter what

11/29 GDT: Red Wings 5 at Islanders 0

Missed the game thanks to a gorgeaus candle light dinner nice victory but let's not get ahead here, a winning streak is needed. Hopefully some call ups against the Sens, this s a game were I don't care about the points.

Think about it: Don Cherry, Dreger, Lebrun, MacKenzie, Ward (I thought he was doing a fantastic job), Duthie, R. Maclean - all these guys are institutions not just in Canada worldiwde. Rogers has nothing even close to their professionalism, personality and knowledge..read somewhere the two sides were around 200k apart thats absolutely nothing and TSN didn't even get the change to match that deal, so horrible. Personally I am not interested in stats and all that stuff but having a good pre intermission and postgame show with guys, that know what they are talking about gives hockey another nice dimension.

Shea Weber leaves game with Injury

Although I dislike him for obvious reasons - as some people mentioned - best of luck and a speedy recovery to Weber. Guy is a human beast with size and grit on the ice

11/27 GDT: Bruins 1 at Red Wings 6

Come back soon Pasha, not losing by +4 could be considered a success with this lineup. Hopefully the Monster plays out of his mind and keeps the team in it, as long as possible.

    Defense or Offense

Personally, I am a big believer in building from the net out, so for sure the defense needs to improve first. Scoring goals is nice and everything but no team is going to win without a reliable defense. The Blackhawks did win last year, because Keith and Seabrook have been playing unreal allowing Toews, Kane and Hossa to score without worrying too much about the D. Assuming the cap goes up at least 5kk I'd love to sign Phaneuf to a 7x7 contract, he would easily become the new QB allowing Kronner to focus more on his shutdown role again (in which he is much better!). Phaneuf - Kronwall Danny K - Ericcson Smith - insert doesn't look too bad

    Datsyuk concussion: To Return Tuesday

If him and Z wouldn't carrying their lines this team would be even more lost than they already are. Expecting Nyquist and Tatar to bring it every night is unfair, they are still rookies but Alfie and Weiss + Mule have to step up now no question.

Pre-game discussion 11/27 Bruins: Dats out. Gus in.

Tonight Lucic, McQuaid, Thornton, Chara and if they call him up Pierre Luc Lebland good times await this team.. as for Neil you are right and that's why some people are calling for an enforcer not named PP

Sadly, he is more than that he is annoying, comes off like a regime-boss and really doesn't do anything for the game/fans nor the integrity. It's also well known, that not all owners are happy with him. Think about the contract long not shortterm: 60 % less Canadiens are going to be able to watch NHL hockey now, even if 15 - 28 % of them would a Rogers package, that's still a lot less viewers than other the former umbrella. Other NHL sponsors like Reebok, Nike, McD will *not* renew at the same condictions if the ratings are down and their biggest market = Canada is losing interest because of such a deal. This then could also mean, that they are losing more overall than what the NHL has "gained" with this new monopolistic contract. It's the same thing with people buying houses in areas, which are NOW expensive but completely forgetting how some (lesser known) areas are going to explode in the future because of landscape and all that stuff. Leaving TSN completely out of this, will backfire mark my words

    Ericsson re-signed 6-yrs $4.25 mill AAV

Happy with this deal, almost love it only 250k more than I expected which is nothing.

If someone would ask me, what his job is I'd rather not answer, being responsible for 3 lockouts, the absolute opposite of what hockey stands for and not giving Canada it's teams back...should get every commissioner fired. This deal is just another shortterm solution, I read somewhere that around 40 % of Canadians are able to get CBC but 100 % are getting TSN - huge difference given how hockeycrazy this country is. Giving an evil company lead by an evil man such a monopoly over hockey, is never a good thing. Rogers can now basicallyc harge whatever they want, because they own the whole package. SN just sucks, even if they improve it I highly doubt, it will be anywhere close to the expected professionalism from TSN and that to me is a mistake. Another funny note, the BOG meeting will be held soon and yet Rogers THEMSELVES is allowed to have a vote in there (because they also own the Leafs)...sometimes I'm wondering why countries are having anti monopoly lawys.

CBC partners with Rogers in landmark NHL rights deal.

Ah ton of people will just stop watching the NHL so I hope the BOG is finally coming to their senses and doesn't accept such a piss poor company like Rogers. Only fitting a lockout hat-trick and now a contract with a company that is known for horrible customer service. Not only a bad day for Hockey Canada a bad day for hockey worldwide.

Just read: Rogers owns the Leafs Bell owns part + Canadiens arena How can Bell accept this crap? It's beyond me they own TSN and let that happen? seriously

The following opinion ma not be popular but personally I think so far the monster outplayed Howard, so he deserves the game against Boston. As for Pasha: 4 days Kenny...get a mean SOB I want him to go Probert Koccur style on Cowen, Neil and one of their starplayers. I'd rather see Spezza, Cowen, Neil out than two points against Ottawa.

It's unbelievable how one company can have so much influence, how about the anti monopol lawys? For hockeyfans this sucks, but I am also not surprised the NHL doesn't care about quality heck they would have given the rights to Brazil is they've paid the most, just the way this **** midget operates. Nothing Rogers has, will ever come close to the quality of TSN.

So less games with TSN? I am out, not interested in anything with Rogers. Only good thing CBC has is HNIC and Don Cherry.
