Wow Smith huge respect Kenny watch this closely and finally get a goon on this roster. I want Orr or McGrattan
-
Can't blame him, since according to the front office the PP is the DetroitRedWings enforcer whom should he fear? Abdelkader? Neil is exactly the type of player why this team needs a goon
-
Back in the good old days Downey would have come out and laid a pounding on Turris... As someone needs to get Kronwalled I nominate Turris Get an enforcer in this roster asap
-
I don't care about the stats, they are just that and people who aren't following the games can look at them and act like stats are telling the whole story, which they obviously aren't. That said with Danny K - the brightest spot - out goaltending needs to be better, no way around that.
-
Get the monster in there!
-
Win with the monster, sit him next time brilliant...
-
Looking these rosters Sweden is going to be one tough team to beat.
-
Liking, what we've seen so far
-
Just win hopefully, Alfie scores. Well the Vancouver Canucks are still the best and I wouldn't rank the Ottawa Senators as the second.
-
...that this franchise has provided fans with so many allstars

Hurricanes Offering Ruutu and Tlusty to Get a Defenseman

Kenny please stay away from both. The first round pick this season could very well become the best since almost a decade. The DetroitRedWings need to become bigger, meaner and younger both don't for this criteria. -
Win and start (hopefully) a winning streak.
-
Two of the most storied franchises in the NHL, original 6 teams with tons of alumnis not even the NHL can f...that up. It will also be 1 year before the perfect human is going into the HHOF hopefully he will stop a little bit to hand out a few signatures.
-
I haven't done that nor will I, I just said IF true.
-
Like I said if its true, should have worded it differently I meant: the police should put him in jail and the NHL or the Avalanche void his contract.
-
Lets assume he gets charged, if the Avalanche don't suspend this sorry human being I hope the NHL steps in and puts this criminal into prison for a long time. Seriously, assaulting your girlfriend? Unbelievable if indeed true.

I don't care how they are doing it, but keeping Nyquist and *not* trading Tatar needs to be on their agenda was top priority. This team is in a transition era now, so sending down a vet might be the only way to achieve the former mentioned priority.
-
I wouldn't count on that, Sweden has a lot of good forwards and their defense, goaltending is impressive they aren't that stacked upfront but for Nyquist to make that team he would have to stay up and keep playing at that pace = unrealistic sadly.
-
Gus and Gus with a fantastic showing happy for both. Also Z with 3 points quie impressive. now hopefullythey can start some sort of a winning streak.
-
well Kenny, the kid is more than ready no way they can send him down now after a game like this. welcome back Nyquist you've been missed way too long. Looks like he not only worked on his game but also on bulking up good for Gus :-)
-
While I can understand the thinking behind this, keep in mind that there aren't many stars/superstars left on this team so guys like Tatar and Gus could just say? Screw that, either pay me my market value or I am going to play and compete with another team for Lord Stanley. After the whole call up/waiving fiasco Kenny would need a lot of balls and gambling willingness to pull of something like that.
-
If and I am sure he will Gus is playing well, he has to get a spot on this team. Sending him down would complete an unreal mess by two of the best of hockeyminds in the NHL, highly doubt the best owner in all of sports would like it.
-
Needless to say, that the last 7 games included teams like the Isles, Jets, Stars and Hurricanes? Seriously the DETROITREDWINGS can't even win against these teams and all of a sudden things aren't as bleak as LGW makes them out to be? None of the mentioned ones is even close to be a powerhouse and yet the real topteams are still coming. How should this team succeed against the Blues, Kings or Penguins if the can't even beat the former mentioned bottom dwllers? The ranking in the east is giving some fans and probably managment a very false impression on where this team really stands and at least to me it is alarming. This team used to crush such teams without even given a full effort...this is a team, that went into another teams building played at around 75 - 80 % and dominated with 4:1 ...games that's what I call DetroitRedWings style. Also, I've hardly heard Kenny that annoyed and pissed like in the interview yesterday, so things are not going into the right direction and are very bleak right now.

All the best Adrian, 17 seasons is a long career well done

Is New Goal-Tracking Technology on the Way?

When a guy like Chara is loading up fro his slapshot, the camera will be sheltered into tons of little pieces, no matter how shockproof this thing is.
