Yes, so the perfect human can hold his position, do I think this will happen? No
-
Murray would have been fired if he traded Gibson, I think Hiller or Andersen would definately have been available for the right price, they need to improve their D and goaltending not improving one AND weakening the other.
-
I don't think Z is going to catch either of the guys in front of him, Pasha should be able to make a run at Kozlov. I really hope, Aflie doesn't catch the perfect human Iwant to see this guy as high as possible.
-
I am starting to think, he will need better CO Gms in order to manage the cap+roster situation a little bit better in the coming years, losing Nil might have had a bigger impact than we all like to think
-
Locker-room enemy #1, plotter or atmosphere killer that's better? I think hockey-fans like this phrase, because in hockey troublemakers are (thankfully) the minority, not like in other sports - i.e soccer, basketball... - the majority. There is no I in team, something Brzygalov will never understand. Also with the current Yakupov struggles one would think this guy is not someone a GM would like to have around young-guys. Reimer/Bernier, Miller or maybe Markstrom would have been available ALL are superior options to this guy, MacTavish really screwed up here.
-
So an already challenged d core is now getting even worse in order to sign s goalie, who is known as a locker room cancer and couldn't find a job in the NHL. Outstanding job MacTavish, Bryzgalov for sure is exactly what Hall and company are needing right now.

That's the problem, Z and Pasha have go carry the load offensively night in night out the support cast is over the hill, lazy or just not good enough. That's where free agency is coming in handy, Kenny used to do wonders on UFA days but it feels like decades ago, back then the DetroitRedWings wanted a player and they got him! I predicted a finish similar to last year and I stick with it. Biggest surprise so far the superb play of DeKeyser and Monster. Losing against a bottom dweller team is unacceptable DetroitRedWings used to stomp them without giving their best effort!!! -
As the season goes on and the TSN loadtimes went up, I've decided to "fix" this thing on my own and now it is loading up <1 s! (note: this how to is fore Firefox 22+) Things you will need to install: Element Hiding Helper: use it to hide the Twitter box and all other updating services NoScript: allow the following: tsn.ca + ctvdigital.com coupled with 9c9cmmedia (= to allow the videos) + ctv.ca flashblock: in order to prevent videos from autostarting and you voila are done enjoy a much faster TSN site without having to wait :-) good luck

If the DetroitRedWings are losing the next game too, I guess the identity so far could be summarized as streaky, win some lose some repeat. -
There is already a thread about him : ) http://www.letsgowings.com/forums/topic/75347-nyquist-taking-things-in-stride-with-class/ My personal point of view: the guy deserves a chance the veterans aren't getting it done offensively at worst he will be as bad as them but at least he is young and will learn.
-
Tootoo was never used probably here, either Babcock doesn't know how to play gritty guys or Kenny didn't want him to play his role so I am a bit saddened seeing him clear waivers. At some point the front office should know the identity of this team and go after players, which fit that. The upcoming UFA class has one big name on it and that's a guy who most believe is Minnesotta Wild bound, sadly I think Phaneuf will re-sing with the TorontoMapleLeafs.

Playoff contender against a team in full rebuild mode, after a longer break should be a win. -
Expectations it's all about expectations the guy is under 30 so no place on Kenys superteam...
-
Is this is a "good case" scenario - hate using that word coupled with injuries but I guess you get my point - for him or worse than expected? Anyway, best of luck and a speedy recovery to Peks.
-
Not a fan of Tootoo, never liked the signing but this team is now by far the softest bunch in the NHL, Kenny should finally wake up and take an advise out of Nonis book HOW to build a bottom 6, I'd kill to have McLaren + Orr on the fourth line. Also I couldn't care less if it's due "cap issues" if you are over the cap don't sign stupid contracts (i.e. Weiss + a bunch of veterans...)
-
I really believe Chelios would be an excellent coach or GM I respect him a lot more than $hanahan
-
Ja well I really think, worrying about the playoffs should start if the DetroitRedWings are mathematically in it as of right now they are *very* streaky, so could be a dogfight like last season. Luckily, there are some really bad teams in the east.
-
I really hope they get desperate and trade another one of their stars. Those wannabe goons and their thug deserve a closer look from the real tough teams in this league. Washington should do what the Islanders did against the Penguins and call up some enforcers the next time they meet.
-
I am usually more of a critical guy, but 6 out of 8 points on a big western canadian roadtrip I certainly take that. To be honest I thought, the DetroitRedWings would come home with only 4 (victory against Calgary and Edmonton), losses to Vancouver and Winnipeg (because it's the end of a long trip). Hopefully, the DetroitRedWings don't believe the game against the Oilers was some kind of a statement. Winning against a terrible team has to be expected, nothing to brag about. In the end I really hope the DetroitRedWings can put together a larger winning-streak soon, would be huge in terms of confidence.
-
Can't wait till the real tough guys are getting to face this idiot, hopefully one of Thornton, Kassasian or Smackintyre is going to ring his bell more than a few times.
-
Wow at first look at Almer excited to see what he can do.
-
I also don't think so, it's just odd that stuff like this always happens between some disturbing guys and I actually like Kassian has all the tools to become a powerforward. Kevlar socks are nice and all but KS are only reducing the impact they don't prevent cuts sadly
-
Well in Kessel's case he was up against a beast + he is a skilled guy not an enforcer. Would he have accepted, I am sure Scott wouldn't have punched him as hard as he can but none the less he did the right thing, by defending himself with the stick. Holtby should heavily looking into assault charges, of course Shanahan does nothing because Snider is in the NHL buddybuddy club. I love fighting and I think it has to be part of the game, it's entertaining but ASSAULT =/= fighting.I mean, the other two fights meh heat of the moment and injuries can happen but this one was just a disgrace. The TSN panel talked about how it is impossible to differ between a good and a bad fight, it is really not hard: good fight = two *willing* guys bad fight = Emery.
-
Watched the replay and oh my gosh,.not looking good go me something is very interesting: These sorts of accidents only happen coupled with disturbing players i.e Cooke and now Kassian, keep your damn foot down if you can't control It! I like Holland wishing him a very speedy recovery.
-
Agreed the Boilers right now are injury rattled and lacking an inch of confidence. Teams, who are considered playoff contenders should beat Edmonton and Calgary. The win against the Canucks was a huge - while unexpected - one. Perfect roadtrip so far. So happy for Helm guy is a warrior and heart and soul guy.
