He's got the Moves Like Jagr..because he's Jaromir Jagr.....

And sign Ryan Whitney please just need to find another 40 + defender for the top pairing, 18 m for 3 years should do the job. -
That obviously sucks but I hear you, my country has the same problem since joining the EU and especially the Euro countries but the Canadian $ should stabilize again, Canada just needs to give jobs to people in Canada, not the people that came to Canada. I don't think, there is any chance, that Edmonton or Winnipeg will fold. Winnipegs owner has a net worth of 20 billion $, the city in Edmonton is basically paying for Katz super arena. IF push comes to shove I can only see Ottawa and the Flames as a possibility.

Just hang them up already, letting the game walk away is not the smart thing to do. Walk away from the game is a way better option -
I already got it some people hate him no need to repeat 10 x a day
-
It is just a prediction so I'm not worried, the cap will skyrocket soon again

Which big ufa guy actually won't re-sign with his team? I ad high hopes for Pietrangelo but sice Kenny like Burke hats offer sheets Wings won't even think about it... So far nothing has changed compared to yesterday if Brunner walks good luck replacing him
-
Well Brunner just wait 8 more years and the Wings are going to give you 5 mil plus and if you are finally 35 + you might even get a ntc you are just too young sorry... 3 years around 3m per would havebeen fair forboth sides
-
Nothing against him, but if Holland is searching ling enizgh I'am sure he can find another voth playerin the 40 + range.

Jim Nill takes Red Wings’ director of amateur scouting to Dallas

I used to remember a time, when the Wings not only got the top guys but also loaded up their front office. I am not happy with losing these guys, who is next Hakan? -
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=426996 glad I didn't expect anything today, otherwise I would be pissed off now.

While Parros would be great, I'd prefer McGrattan his deadstare is really something else and I'd love seeing his salute to the crowd in a winged wheel. This guy is as mean and tough as it comes, heck one of the few guys in this league who is willing to drop the gloves against the Penguins T-Rex known as MacIntyre. Orr can look forward to this although I never like to see enforcers getting seriously hurt, because they are giving their health each game for their teammates and provide an element of integrity to the sport we all love.Needs that need to be filled: size - who is outthere? enforcer - no brainer Wings are now in a division with Orr, McLaren, Frazer, Thornton, Lucic, Scott, Chara, Jensen, Bouilton, Prust, Parros, Macintyre, Engelland thats probably 80 % of the top 10 enforcers in the whole league so better get some protection for the players soon.
-
+highly+ doubt Lemieux and Burkle (spelling?) would allow that.
-
Chiarelli has lost it, first the Seguin trade and now he signs a guy who didn't want to be a Bruin unbelievable I would boo loudly. Iginla is a classy guy but he is not doing himself any favours here, Bruins fans are going to still hate him.
-
Good signing for them, Parros is a giant it will reduce the workload for Prust for sure.
-
I know, Crosby the guy to hate on the Pens for many but for me it was always that stupid idiot Matt Cooke. The only reason he never had to answer for his dirty behaviour were: Uncle Bettman #1 team, Steven MacIntyre and Derek Engelland now he won't have those three and finally has to answer for his antics. Although to me this still isn't good enough, guy should have been ejected from the league years ago, FU Cooke.

The difference between real GMs and armchari GMs is: These guys have seens tons of games in person, they know the ins and outs and team needs. As a armchari GMs the best we can do, is looking at some internet stats and judge most of the players by them but stats aren't telling the whole story. Clarkson is - according to many experts - a guy, that can play and provide different things: screen the goalie, be physical, create room for the more skilled guys (Bickell showed how important that is), will stick up for his teammates and provide leadership. So basically this is a guy, who is giving a team a lot of options he was UFA for sure he is going to get overpaid. I really don't understand the hate against him, great player and sadfully he will show it against the Wings.

Ryan is a beast and if you get the best player in a trade it's a win. Ryan's limit is the sky he is still fairly young.

The deal for Weiss is better than I first thought, so that is a + Losing Filps is a + Losing Brunner is a big - I don't think Alredsson will providee anything at this point in his career so this is a - needs to be filled: toughness, size I am still hoping for McGrattan if not so far a bit better than expected but nothing ground breaking.

Absolute steal for the Senators, Murray took Murray to school here.

Filppula to Tampa 5 yr $5 million
frankgrimes replied to Manny>Ozzie(by a long shot)'s topic in General
Thanks for everything Filps, good luck in Tampa -
This year they are even bigger, stronger who cares about fast? This team is going to be a hell to play against, much like Boston.
-
capslock broken?
-
Just look at the Leafs now: Orr, Frazer, McLaren, Clarkson thats 4 guys willing to drop the gloves and cause havok, Leafs are going to have a lot of fun with the Wings they are really tough now Lucic set the price for powerforwards, Clarkson IS a powerforward so I am not surprised with the type of deal he got.
-
Not getting him? Powerforwards are a rarity in the "new" NHL.
-
This better not be 6 mil per, since there is a guy avaiable at the exact same amount of money who would fill all the Wings needs damnit. Let Weiss sign elsewhere please
