Well the Flames are picking 6 + 22 + 28 so basically only one almost sure NHL player. I wouldn't pass on a guy like Jones, MacKinnon or Drouin for that. The Flames are looking at at least 4 years near the bottom, save for Baertschi their talent pool is amost non existent. I think Feaster needs to go and replaced by a real hockey guy. Maybe they are offering the job to Iginla.

No offense but this lineup while highly skilled would get easily smocked in the east. MacLaren, Orr, Thornton, Lucic, Prust would be having a free ride everytime they are going to play against the Wings. Although I agree, the choices are extremely limited but there are at least some, hopefully Holland knows what needs to be done in order to survive the division. I think Burmistrov is KHL bound, Weiss is not a bigtime player and our only two superstars could need some bigtime players or at least some guys who can make room for them, Weiss does neither.

I can say whatever I want and no I THINK he doesn't provide much, there are obviously other fourth line guys outthere who not only provide more but are also feared fighters.

The guy just doesn't provide anything, he is not an enforcer just an agitator and not a very good hockeyplayer. Rather have a real enforcer and another fourth line guy, didn't like the signing back then and for sure not liking it one year after.

Good signing hopefully this will make his brother thinking hard about the Wings.

Thanks for mentioning Hossa, thats true I really forgot him. I wasn't even mad at him for signing with the damn Hawks (would have prefered another team obviously), but he got his well deserved cup and is still a huge performer. Wish he still would be a Wing... But Kane, Bickell, Marchand, Shaw and Crawford can all go .... themselves...

Just wait till the Bruins tough guys are hurt or not in the lineup, Marchand will play as clean as a game as you have seen him. Chara is by far their best defender, so I am sure Julien told him to not really fight. His father also was a pro wrestler so it does make sense but I am sure playing against a 6,9 guy is a lot to handle even for NHL players. Seriously the Hawks have only one likable player and thats Jonathan Toews.

Iginla is not a powerforward at this point in his career but don't let his Pittsburgh stint fool you he is way better than that, their supercoach just missused him. Even with that said, I'd take Clarkson over any of the guys, this has to be one of the worst UFA pools ever but with the Penguins paying up for Malkin I can see us in the hunt for Letang soon

It is great that its an original 6 final, but to be honest I always wanted a Wings Leafs O 6 final for obvious reasons but one thing is for sure ratings are going to be through the roof.

No worries, everyone is entiteled to his opinion and if that's you opinion I am more than fine with it, I just happen to disagree with you. The insurance thing is just a big bluff, they use the safety issue as a reason to charge these premium fee but in the end, insurances surely know that they are getting more out of this even if they have to pay sometimes... Hockeyplayers are tough as nails and will come back till its no longer possible, telling them what to wear is just wrong in my opinion but it fits with a lot of bad decisions this league has made over the past years.
