I've started watching hockex as a young kid and everyone talked about that young swedish kid ripping the NHL a new one...the time goes too fast I already hate the presser but I will watch it and promised my GF to not cry but it will be damn hard. Thank you so much for everything you did for hockey and especially this organization you have filled in big shoes after Stevie retired but because of professionalism, unmatched hockey IQ, leadership and calm behaviour this transition has been way easier, than everyone would have imagined. Words can't describe how big of an impact your retirement will be for the whole hockey world. It ashames me deep deep and evern deeper into my heart seeing you go out in the first round, one last cup would have been the only acceptable way to see a top 5 (I dont care what others are saying) alltime-great retiring. You will be heavily missed an no Weber or Suter will even come close to replace you. Thanks for 2 decades of just being what you are...the perfect human see my sig.

Hardly understand the attitude of the better team lost thinking, if you lost you weren't the better team, period. People can blame injuries, officiating and stars not shining all they want but at the end if you lose 4 games the other team deservingly won. That said I really love this board from the first day I didn't feel like a newbie having to answer stupid question like ,,oh no you just joined so what do you know?" I think its the best hockeyboard on the internet. Sure, people get angry and down with this team as do other fans but thats part of being a fan. Fans of weaker teams might be used to the losing or simple stopped to care and really you cant blame them, take Edmonton or the Islanders their management is complete crap and yet the owners are giving them extension ad nauseum. The worst boards I have seen is the Leafs one when they are losing its like "fire this guy, bring in that guy tank it and start from the bottom again" absolutely crazy stuff.

According to the hockeypodcast shars are one of these teams, who are really hard to figure out. Last year their problem has been the defense, they've fixed it then the offense became their problem so Doug Wilson will be looking for a challenging year.

Both are just that a dream I would be tremendously happy with Suter. I think people hardly doubt the organization some are just justifiably worried. In case of all this parity s*** which basically means O 6 teams + tankers are now paying for small market teams its so tough, to stay at the top. I have faith that this shop will be headed in the right direction again, but we need to adopt and play a more babcocklike style, therefore signing some guys like Prust, Scott or Konopka will equally if not more important.

Predicting who turns out and who doesn't at this point is nothing more than using a virtuel crystalball but I think Brunnstrom, Nyquist, Smith and Tatar have the tools to surprise a lot of people with Jurco I am not so sure.

Um guys we may have a lot of money but we need to get younger although Doan would be a nice addition I highly doubt it. Mike Smith should shut the f*** up I mean, after all Doan has a reason he got three stupid penalties for nothing in a row. I mean John Scott will be avaiable he may not be as good as Doan but this guy can skate and fight well.

Never underestimate the greed from some of the billionaires it is very sad. Another lockout would be a killer but I am prepared for every outcome. Will watch AHL, SEL, SWISS league and KHL if it really comes to another one.

What a helluva team they are I am extremely surprised does it even matter which eastern team they are going to face? They remind me a lot on our 2002 team I still miss that roster.

Last time the owners played hardball so I hope this time the PA will do the same. The league got everything they wanted now its the players turn I think they will push for a higher salary floor and removing NTC/NMC age. Another lockout although stupid as hell could also mean the end of the Bettman " Original 12" era which I appreciate.

The more players we have fighting for a spot the merrier. Showing rookies how tough it its to get a spot on this team will only do them favours longterm speaking I would say let him attend training camp and go from there. Is Almquist ready for NHL primetime?

LA will be too much for Phönix they are playing like a team on one mission and I am happy for them.
