If the Flames ware winning today the series is over this is a very important game for both teams. -
Well I'M sure it was a combination of being disappointed and simply overwhelmed by all the attention on TV. McDavid does strike me as a very competitive but introverted guy who doesn't like all that spotlight on him. Media would be wise to let him play and develop without being in his face all the time.

Only chance is to play tight defensively and play a bit more physical ..This team doesn't have the fire power to go into a scoring race with Tampa sad but true.

What a great atmosphere, they even had the wave. No matter the outcome the players better give this crowd a huge ovation on the ice after the series is done. -
Yeah but I'm taking about NHL stuff here. Not everyone has the same transition as Cooper. Like I said it could work but also backfire...Koala would be the safer bet or maybe Julien guy has a great defensive system.

Blashill has zero playoff experience, Todd has that. Blashill could be the next Babcock or the next Eakins and I really like the guy but I'm not sure if he would be a better choice than Koala Granted if Todd would even consider coming back

I can't remember the last team so many premier coaches have been available: Babcock, Tippet, McLellan, Julien, Hitchcock and maybe even the regular season magic man Budreaus. It's like the who is who of coaches the UFA list on the other hand is so damn bleak. Not one premier guy..I wonder if this is the start of more changes in San Jose i.e. Doug Wilson is next

With the McDavid tag don't forget the Oilers. Koala will have no shortage of interested takers. Maybe even Boston if their new GM fires Julien. This is in the best interest for Todd Sharks are rebuilding and their owner doesn't want to spend .

I think this is more a we do it because we can thing, players are used to large crowds and I doubt this has and effect at all but it's fun and adds to the home team atmosphere. Winnipeg has very creative chants like Crosby is better, Who's your captain. I would love to see a DB measurement for Winnipeg tonight. As far as I can tell the last time I really thought wow this is nuts in a good way, has been the booing of a lifetime in 09.

My bad then sorry, thought for sure Anderssen would be UFA. So they now have to decide between the Hamburglar, Anderssen and Lehner ? Tough call but I guess Anderssen is on his way out which would be a mistake.

Out of the series would be better. Now that it's over call up a bunch of tough guys for game 4 and send the frenchies with some "nice" greetings into round 2. Run Price, crosscheck Subban, check if Pacioretty's head is still right .. Nothing to be ashamed off Senators just go out in style and don't let those idiots get away with their usual bulls***. I respect some guys from the Habs and their awesome tradition but that team has way too many unlikable, cocky and arrogant idiots. -
I think the hangar will erupt tonight in Winnipeg. That place will absolutely go nuts it's been almost 20 years since they've had playoff hockey there and if the Jets are scoring first the roof might not hold up.

I'm talking about signing him and then trade for a top pairing guy with size.As much as we all won't like it the fact is - barring McDavid pulling a Lindros - he will be an Oiler on July 1. In terms of Philly they basically need the same thing we do a top pairing guy I.e Hanifin.I would try getting Luke Schenn from them.

No they aren't it's only two goals. The SEnators weren't done when they were down against Pittsburgh by 3 goals it's doable all they need is a quick goal in the third.
