It's really amazing how loyal and huge their fanbase is Bell and Rogers are looking at the bottom line only and if that isn't to their liking heads will roll.

Well their new management is making the same mistakes as the old one instead of giving GTA kids a chance, they are signing player from the NCAA, KHL ...I mean, everyone knows the pressure in that market so why not sign somebody from the area since they know all the stuff and might be able to handle it better.

Totally he is a good goalie and when he is on very good, just not in the class of Price, King H, Quick, Rinne but most goalies aren't so not a big deal. If this team makes the playoffs Howard will need to be better no doubt as will the whole team (not just defense). Personally I'd feel more confident with Howard or the monster in net (he did play well against Boston last year).

when I'm thinking of NHL ready goalies I'm thinking of Gibson, Talbot and to some extent Hammond. Mrazek is a rookie, who still has to round out his game and needs to avoid overreacting but anyway Babcock said he is going to start the next game and so we'll see how it turns out. but at the end of the day the Wings need Howard to get back to his pre-injury form.

Interesting but I think this is almost usual stuff at practises. It's hard to get along with everybody on a team players nerves are fragile so it's the perfect storm. Judging from the highlights the Sharks weren't that much better the Wings really sucked. There were 2 good saves one by Niemi and the other one by Mrazek by other than that ... This team has to understand, that the playoffs are around the corner so the intensity, physicality and overall pace of the game is going to turn up more and more and if they aren't ready for it, well tough luck.

I still hope they can trade Jurco - Pulkinen - + 1/2nd for Phaneuf in the summer. The whole fourth line is a joke they don't scare anyone, aren't hard to play against and still cost the team points. Something is really of and t hey'll need to figure it out in a hurry.

Good god that Howard versus Mrazek discussion is so annoying. Fact is that ever so good kid has had a bad stretch in his last games before being sent down, also he didn't play that well in his last game. Yeah sure - if this team makes the playoffs - go into it with a streaky rookie who is either hot or playing bad that's for sure a receipt for success. Howard hasn't been himself but the team as a whole is streaky, they either win a lot or lose a lot and this can't be soley blamed on the goalie. Is Howard elite ? Hardly he is a good goalie and in my mind a better one than that overrated Mrazek. but man I should stop expecting 2 points against weaker opponents this team simply is too streaky..

If I were a fan of that team, I'd be pretty pissed with them not drafting Ritchie but rather that cocky Swedish kid.
