Zetterberg - 1st, top prospect, mid prospect Datsyuk - 1st, 2nd, top prospect only 1 year left Nyquist - 1st, 2nd, mid prospect Tatar - 1st, 2nd, mid prospect Sheahan - 2nd, low prospect Abdelkader - 2nd Weiss - 2nd, mid prospect . teams would be hesitant touching that contract Helm - 2nd, low prospect because of being injury prone Jurco - 2 nd more NHL experience would be needed till teams might decide giving up a 1 st Pulkkinen - 2nd Franzen - 3 rd if even that he is already on the decline and signed for a few more years Miller - 4th Glendening - 3th great grinder wouldn't trade hum for a 3 rd Andersson - 6th Kronwall - 1st, mid prospect great cap hit and a reliable defender but probably a second pairing guy on a loaded team DeKeyser - 1st, top prospect Ericsson - 2nd, 3rd Smith - 2nd, mid prospect Quincey - 2nd, mid prospect Ouellet - mid prospect will need a bigger sample size till other GMs would pay more Kindl - 4th Lashoff - 6th Howard - 1st, top prospect Gustavsson - 2nd, mid prospect Mrazek - 2nd, mid prospect teams are hesitant to give up a lot for unproven goal tenders The added price tag obviously is related to the type of team for example I don't think buffalo would trade their first this year for anything the Wings have to offer.

Tonight would be a nice time for Kronwall to show that he still hasn't forgotten on how play the body..Neal is overdue for getting kronwalled

Nashville has yet to lose 2 games in a row this season
frankgrimes replied to PredsFanTheBayouState's topic in General
It really doesn't matter he is the best coach in hockey and he holds all the important trophies Olympic Gold, Lord Stanley and will be like mentioned the coach who is setting a new precedent for coaches salary. The Adams always goes to the most improved team so yeah Capuano may have a chance lol Just like the Norris doesn't go to the best defender it goes to the best point producer who happens to be a defender. Otherwise Weber and Suter would have at least one by now -
This going to be a tough one Predators are on fire even without their star goaltender

Get the best voting tool an ip changer and the favorite player is in. I mean the nhl managed to change this game from nice to whatever and now to ...well garbage and they are well on their way of doing the same with the winter classic.

will -sadly- be the same as last year ⇐ nomination but the title will go to one of the afore-mentioned ones. I still haven't changed my wait and see approach, -

TB's Paquette learns the hard way, don't start **** w Chara
frankgrimes replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
I think he is a wrestler (not WWF) but man that fitness level at this age is surely impressive. -
That's why these guys are hiring the best financial advisers and tax accounters possible. The best thing they can do is buying a condo or house in a non tax state and declare it as your primary home to avoid that unreal heavy tax. I'm sure there other much better tricks but those people would be stupid to pay 50 % of their income in taxes thats just crazy even 20 % is pushing it. Regardless where Babcock ends he will be the highest paid coach in the league and probably set a precedent for other coaches. But man Feschuk, Simmons and Cox versus Babcock would be a beauty instead of snapping Babs would just kick him out of the locker-room 24/7 style.

Do we need a trade to get our offence going ?
frankgrimes replied to nyqvististhefuture's topic in General
For the right price I would like him but rather spend some the cap room on Boychuk or next year Seabrook neither would cost any assets -
Just because a few think so doesn't mean the whole fanbase does. Goalies who are coming fresh into the league are often doing well the real testing point comes when other teams starting to figure out their weakness and expose them. Till then Mrazek remains a solid prospect with potential nothing more nothing less.

Wow didn't expect a win against that powerhouse , would have been happy with a non blowout so a nice surprise here.

Great list and that's really where the untouchables should end everyone else has to be in play if the Wings want to improve the team in the coming years.

Not gonna happen he rather sees our players getting pushed around, concussed and endlessly crosschecked.. -
Could the Wings be better off trading Pav & Hank for draft picks?
frankgrimes replied to pondrocket's topic in General
Neither will get graded. I think both have a full nmc or at least a modified ntc clause. Teams like Buffalo, Arizona or Edmonton are not going to give up the chance to draft generational players like McEichel so the Wings won't get much in return...both are getting way past their prime and Pasha has one year left on his contract. Another important point is this: the young guns need players to learn excellence from Pasha and Z learned from all time greats in Yzerman, Lidas and Chelios....so they only way they get traded is if they ask for a trade. Especially in Pasha case I would be fine with the guy deserves another cup and this team isn't going to be a cup contender for a few more years and that's all under the right circumstances meaning some prospects need to turn out much better than expected otherwise uuuuooooo To sum it up its not gonna happen unless they ask for it and if they do the return wouldn't be all that great. So Wings have to hope that some of the young guns can lessen the blow once both aren't top players anymore. If that doesn't happen well than better get a great pick and draft a top 6 center or Holland will need to do something he hasn't done in years bring in a top players. -

Chara would destroy him. For sure a fight worth watching.I think he fought Kip Brenan a few years ago but] too would like seeing him fight some real toughguys | same goes for Weber -
Brodeur retires. Named Sr. Advisor to Blues GM
frankgrimes replied to historywillbemade's topic in General
I feel somewhat bad for him he is hanging on too long just to get to that stupid 700 mark , he could have retired as a Devil last season instead of begging for jobs and now being only the 3 option. I know it's his life but why tarnish an awesome career like that ? -

260 lbs, 4 % body fat, 6,9 inch, 33 ! pull ups, hardest slapshot in the league, 7 languages... - 37 years old just 1 word: absolute freak of nature Bruins will have to pull a rabit out of somewhere if they hope to replace some of the things this guy can do. -
Mike Yeo (Wild) Has Meltdown At Practice
frankgrimes replied to HadThomasVokounOnFortSt's topic in General
Well he also broke his stick and then left them alone on the ice what kind of message does this send to the team ? So first the coach sways like crazy and then doesn't even finish the practice as a player I would think ..way too help us out "coach" -

There are guys that can beat him but sadly save for Scott most are in the ahl now or hurt :(Bourdelaux). Chara is soo tall and if he caps someone he is going to get the takedown his father is a pro wrestler -

Minnesotta made the better offer and his girlfriend wanted to move back so he made the right decision. Yeah, this is a down year for them but the wild are an up and coming team. Wonder, if they would give Timmeyyy a call soo -

About time that the Bruins are letting that big bad bear mentality back into their game. Don't f*** with Chara unless you are well prepared. Boy would I love to see a Chara Scott fight. Scott would pound him but could be a close one -
