Don't get me wrong, I don't think any other coach would have won back to back golds or been able to get Crosby to play defensive hockey. He is a great coach I just think he's got to move on. I wasn't trying to downplay anything just saying his team's were stacked, it wasn't like he pulled a miracle out of his ass

So despite how difficult babs may be in this situation it's all Holland's fault? To be honest I don't think babs is quite as effective anymore. He is unwilling to try certain things (playing Weiss, putting Smith on the pp) and very stubborn on others (Cleary, nestrasil) and half the time his line combos are iffy at best (quincey-Smith, Abby and helm in the top 6) babs is a great coach but it's quite obvious things aren't going in the right direction somewhere between babs and Holland. I'd be quite fine with bringing nill up, and let babs go.

It's not the vets we can't count on its the d. The vets are scoring most of the goals and the crucial ones at that (when you only score two a game I guess every goal is crucial ) every time we tie or get a lead the d or the kid line seems to make some ridiculous play and screw it up.

Kindl has gotten pp time this year, he hasn't gotten any lately cause he stinks as the pp qb (quincey and dk aren't really any better) smith has gotten absolutely no pp time thiis year. why? who knows

Top three pk teams in the league right now have the worst pp. Maybe a coincidence. Maybe not. Either way get Smith in the pp, get nestrasil off, get helm off, get Weiss in, and get Franzen in when he's healthy again.

They aren't shopping Weiss, they aren't shopping Smith. They are shopping kindl. The reason Smith isn't getting pp time is because they want to trade kindl so they are giving him every opportunity to score. How would it make sense they aren't giving Smith pp time because they are shopping him? Wouldn't they want to increase his value not lower it? If he performs well on the pp it adds value. If they were shopping Weiss he would be playing in order to increase his value also.

Maybe now Weiss will get a shot
