Well I heard a rumor that before Philly gave Weber that offer sheet Holland was going to give him a one year $10million offer sheet which would either be matched and make him a ufa the next season or we would get him. Either way. Win win. But Philly did that ridiculous one lol

We have 23 straight playoffs appearances and 4 cups in that time. The Bruins made the playoffs 29 straight times and won 2 cups in that time Blackhawks had 28 straight playoffs appearances and 0 cups in that time The blues 25 straight. 0 cups Canadiens 24 straight. 8 cups Every other one is below us in playoffs streaks. So aside from Montreal and their unreal streak I would say our playoff streak and cup wins in that time is right up there and better than anyone but Montreal. So Ya we've stumbled a bit recently but we've done well for ourselves.

I did and his interview after. He was upset after losing to Boston in his first game back. He didn't want to talk to anyone. He was much more optimistic about the teams future in the next interview.

I vaguely remember something to the effect that if he doesn't make the team he won't sign a new contract and may go overseas. But at that point he was right, Holland wasn't even giving him a shot.

I don't remember him threatening to go overseas. I know he said there's a %90 chance he re-signs with us and that he wants fair market value.

Logically speaking. I highly doubt all those players will be injured at the same time again, and with z having that surgery he may not even miss very many games now this year.
