Inventor looks to drastically shorten ice resurfacing time

I don't really get the reference, but it was stated in the original post 77.2 Intermission Timing Play shall be resumed promptly following each intermission upon the expiration of seventeen (17) minutes or a length of time designated by the League from the completion of play in the preceding period. Timing of the intermission commences immediately upon the conclusion of the period. (See Rule 34 Game Timekeeper.) Preliminary warnings shall be given by the Game Timekeeper to the officials and to both teams five (5) minutes and two (2) minutes prior to the resumption of play in each period to enable the teams to start play promptly. http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26488 -

I guess you missed the part about how it can't shorten intermissions because the cba won't allow it -

Everything is going according to plan... Excellent -
Filppula was offered a contract and wanted to test free agency instead, he then came back later to accept the original offer butby then it was too late and we spent the money elsewhere. Filppula left, we didn't just "let him walk" and we got the best replacement for him available

A lot of teams wanted him at the trade deadline, and Holland refused, why would he trade him now before the season starts?
-
can we honestly drop the Jarnkrok stuff in every thread already? he was never going to make the team, it's that simple. As far as mantha goes, the guys he will be playing with will be far and away better then what he had
-
If anyone knows quality defensemen, it's certainly Philly!!
-
Unless we pick up a goal scoring winger I think we'll see him sooner than later. When Holland talks about mantha it isn't the same way he talks about other prospects. My guess is he'll start the year in grand rapids and if he can score a lot there he will be with the wings about 20 games in or as soon as injured players sit
-
He should have just said no comment and left instead of however long of maybe it will happen maybe it won't at this time all I can say is that the prospect of bringing a team to Seattle is up in the air with a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man, and it's uncertain whether we should move one bad location team to another bad location while we sort out our priorities we just wanted to see if Seattle was warm enough for hockey, at this time we will have to wait to see if they get snow in the winter, if they don't, we will move forward with our plan to negotiate on whether or not we should have a team there, if it drops below 50 degrees the answer is no.
-
It's ok he's been extended another two years, so no need to fear no free agents are going to Toronto unless they vastly overpay, see Clarkson, David
-
I agree we should trade for a top pairing dman depending on the cost, but we should also sign Boyle as well. I agree with you on schenn, which was the point I was making no need to trade for a guy that will give us the same result as players we already have in the pipeline
-
And we don't have to trade to get him
