Remember when Datsyuk was going back to Russia after this season, and Zetterberg would never play hockey again. Reporters stir up rumors they know nothing of just to get some publicity. I doubt it's money related. He is one of, if not, the highest paid coach in the league

Yes Lundqvist is better. That wasn't my point, my point was people are so quick to jump down howies throat, but are so willing to make excuses for the "king". Howie had a bad year, yes, but nowhere near as bad as people made it out to be, you would think conks was back in net. My point was without any support as you are seeing, even the best goalies can't change the fact that your team can't score. -

What is the difference between the rangers and the wings? 6 goals in 5 games or 2 in 3? The reality is Howard has had zero offensive support and defensive support all year. I never said Lindquist was bad (highly overrated though) just that you can't say one is good but not the other -

Funny. When you say the exact same about Howard it's just an excuse, and blah blah blah. When it's "king Henrik" it's valid. There's no difference. Either elite goalies win series all alone or they don't. It can't be both depending on who you like -

we were slated to win the conference?!?! Damn I missed that, must have been between the wings will trade for Stamkos and samuelsson can get us a first round pick headlines. I always thought we could possibly be top 3 in the division/conference, until the injuries started in.

Didn't see that. Still not bad for a guy with hands of stone that doesn't shoot a lot. I'd be curious to see how pur top players rank against other top players in the league

I doubt he will be a hall of famer, but you never know. I consider superstars to be franchise players, guys like Stamkos, Malkin, The Sedins in 2012, and Crosby (as much as i hate him) Hossa could be considered elite, but superstar he is not

helm spends a lot of time on the pk too, that could affect his stats. Still #7 for a guy who isn't known for his offensive prowess is pretty good

This. I doubt have the exact quote link handy but z has said multiple times that he is feeling great. He wasn't at %100 yet when he came back to play, plus he wasn't playing for so long. He will be better then this year, guaranteed

Their injuries were nothing compared to ours. They had most of their big name players aside from letang. We had the highest cap hit man games by a large margin. We were missing almost our entire top 6 at one point
