From what I've read they aren't quite nhl ready yet, but I doubt they could be worse then our current favorites, kindl and lashoff. Smith has been awesome lately, Quincey has been OK kronwall and donkey Kong have been great -

No I get that. But he said Ryan would be our leading goal scorer right now, but nyquist has almost 30 goals this year so I'm not too upset

Isn't that what you're supposed to do? Take the opportunity and run with it to earn your job? Ya he signed some guys he shouldn't have, but the kids got a chance to prove themselves, and they did. Now management feels comfortable keeping them around.

Tatar was up in the nhl from the start, they couldn't waive him or they'd lose him. Yes he sat the first few games cause they knew what they had with him and wanted to see what other players brought to the table this year. I agree about nyquist, but the rest had not earned a spot yet, sheahan only played two games before and was disappointing in both, to be fair.
