I just want to point out that they play hockey in Detroit... A Mexican resort is far less scary then Detroit at night.

Canada has an easy matchup, no doubt about that... however you are acing like Czech should even be considered a worthy opponent to the USA team, when they shouldn't be. Yes they have several NHL players, players of lesser quality then ones they ommited, also they do not have the players of the caliber of USA. Sorry, but USA vs. Czech is not a tough matchup, Czech does not have a leg to stand on against the USA unless they completely s*** the bed. The only even tough match-up in the quarters is Russia - Finland. Barring an upset Canada, USA and Sweden should advance without an issue.

Lol of course... USA has a pretty easy matchup against Czech, they'll be pretty tired on top of that. USA should have absolutely no problem rolling past them Latvia and Slovenia are two surprising teams advancing

You're right, my comment was directed at everyone constantly belittling team Canada, yours just happened to be the post I quoted, so I apologize. Also it seems like when Detroit plays lesser teams, and every team seems to play their best game of the year, when teams lace up against Canada they are playing the best they possibly can, just to try and be able to say they beat team Canada.
