I wouldn't really say he has been injury prone considering he hasn't missed more then 2 games in a season since 09-10 and hasn't missed more then 8 games since 06-07. Ya he has had back issues in the past, but almost every year he has still been almost a point per game even if he was battling through back pain. -

This is just awful news. Just as we start hitting our stride too, it wasn't bad enough dats is out, now z too... This can't be anything but bad. -
Nobody liked it before, that hasn't changed

He actually has a nmc but that's beside the point. Weiss will be just fine you can count on that. He has way too much skill to go on like this for too long. He will start playing very well soon enough and everyone can eat crow then. I liked the Weiss signing when it happened and still do, if we traded every player away that underperformed at first then Zetterberg would have been gone in 2011-2012 and countless others.
