Find me one long term big money contract like this the wings have signed after the entry level contract is up please. The equivalent to this for us would be signing Tatar after this year to a 7 year $35 million contract -
I agree even though goose has proven more in the preseason than Sammy has since he was signed.

Scott is just a goon. I agree though Kessel shouldn't have been hacking away (as the nhl game announcers like to put it) like Paul Bunyan on Scott then go back and freaking spear the guy, but Scott is just a goon. Loved the goalie fight though, never see that anymore, makes me miss the Det-Col rivalry so much

Send sammy to the minors (cause god he looked awful again) Helm on LTIR to start, and start Eaves on LTIR and ship him to the minors when he is game ready again. that should clear enough cap space and player spots. Tatar andy and Nyquist is a wicked line better than the Nyquist andy Brunner line from last year, don't want to break that chemistry they have up, especially cause they are a booming young line with experience playing together in GR already

I thought it was some good light hearted fun, it's pre-season. Plus who cares if Enroth is happy or not, I don't see him ever being more than a career backup/below average starter. Either way, it was comical, and it was all in good fun, when you get to round 10 of a shootout you have to keep it interesting for the fans.

Ya it's an automatic suspension, which is really dumb, considering he had a very very good reason for doing what he did. If I was the coach I would tell the whole team to just get off the bench, they can't suspend the whole team lol

Ya I agree with you, that's what I was talking about though, him 2 handing him, then when he sees scott is being held back, he pulls a Franzen and spears him. You know Scott is going to have a chip on his shoulder for Phil now, better watch his back, hope he doesn't go full goon on him, cause Kessel really is a good player and I would hate to see anyone get seriously hurt, let alone a superstar

THIS is why we need Tootoo! Scott shouldn't be going after Toronto's star player like that, on a side note Kessel acted like a little ***** about it though, kinda threw a temper tantrum slashing away at Scott then came back and speared him, no class there.
