WCF : (5) Los Angeles Kings vs. (1) Chicago Blackhawks
Euro_Twins replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Vokoun has been solid for them, I think their most glaring concern is leadership. Who would want to be on a team captained by crysby? I honestly think the team was better with him injured -
I remember reading somewhere that the league is changing it, half the season dark jerseys are home, and the other half the white are home
-
My bad, I will give babs a text and let him know
-
he is 6'5" 225 pounds... where did you get 159 pounds and smaller than 6'3"? http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectdetail.htm?cat=1&dpid=82240&sort=finalRank&year=2013

Both Physical teams, but those same teams don't kill other teams the same way they do each other, Philly and Boston are the only teams that are scary physically in the east to me
-
he reminds me of a caveman in ice skates lol

ECF - (4) Boston Bruins vs. (1) Pittsburgh Penguins
Euro_Twins replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
lol @ iginla screwing over Boston, karma sucks buddy. also marks the 4 year anniversary of the worst sports moment of my life... -
I dunno, in a deep draft like this, I would prefer if we went after someone who was a better skater, big bodied forward with hands
-
Top 40 hitters in each conference this year 5076 east vs. 4567 west difference of 509 hits, over 48 games = 10.6 extra hits per game, divided by 15 teams in west (rounding up) *drum roll* a whole extra 0.71 hits per game average. I hope the wings are shaking in their boots, datsyuk cant handle an extra .71 hits/game, I know that, he should just go back to Russia, I now understand why some people say he is scared of the east...
-
22 of the top 40 hitters are from the east, seems pretty even to me http://espn.go.com/nhl/statistics/player/_/stat/defensive/sort/hits/seasontype/2
-
I watched the videos, not a huge fan of Mccaron. Seems a bit slow, the only thing he has going for him is his size, and he has a pretty decent shot. I would prefer a fast big physical power forward, like Bertuzzi in 2003
-
points don't necessarily translate to success, Cleary got 10 points but was not very good, Abby did a great job screening the goalie, opening up space and getting under players skin. He has potential, he just needs to work on his game a bit in the off season

Do we really need a thread to say the same thing people have been posting threads to say all year?

gdt WCSF Game 7 GDT: Red Wings 1 at Blackhawks 2 OT (CHI wins series, 4-3)

Agreed, but Kronwall did what he could, if he went for the check and missed Seabrook is all alone there, the Nyquist was taken out of thhe play, everyone else was no where to be found -

nope, I wouldn't even care. The inconsistency in reffing this series was atrocious, we got called on a lot of ridiculous stupid stuff, and the refs missed a whole hell of a lot of dirty plays by chicago. Obviously it goes both ways, but I would have no issue with winning after they waved off a good goal, Lord knows Homer put in his dues in that regard over the years -

I see so many people blaming kronner and howie for the ot goal... that just is dumb, it was bad luck plain and simple, it is not kronwalls fault for trying to get in front of a shot and block it, that is a normal play any dman would make, but his stick deflected it and howie didn't save it, plain and simple, we played 20 minutes tonight, not 60 like the hawks, therefor the hawks deserved the win -
