This is bull, in every gdt so far you have been incessently talking smack about fil, and hoping for someone to hop on your hate train. I don't know why you have this disdain for him, he has been one of our most solid and complete players all year, hes putting points up, as well as being very good defensively. I'm honestly wondering if you just like to stir things up, with Datsyuks future unkown we cannot afford to lose anymore offense, and to those saying lose him cause we can use that money otherwise, here's a little insight for you; Our current defense is at about 20.2mil cap hit Losing Quincey, White, and Kindl from that, opens up about 7.5mil now giving Lashoff about 1.5mil next season and smith 2mil leaves us with 5.3mil, plus the left over million on our cap, so 6.3 million to spend now on to offense; without cleary mursak and miller gone that frees up another 4.2 mil, so now 10.5 million to spend, with 1 buyout used. give flip 4.5mil, leaves us with 9mil, howie should be at about 4mil next year, so we still have 7.25mil. and after you give brunner 3mil, we have 5.5mil to spend. Now buyout a guy like sammy and you have 8.5 mil to spend. I think we can get a pretty good dman for 8.5 mil bottom line, flip needs to stay

LMAO ya his cap hit is ridiculous, and I agree with you on Kindl being better than Q, and much cheaper. I was so pissed that holland signed Q to 3.7/year. He hasn't shown anything nearly worth 3.7. Blocking shots is really the only good thing he has done so far
-
I'm pretty sure he can "cut it" in the nhl. Just cause he's had a few bad seasons doesn't mean he wouldn't do well on the wings, we have a habit of being able to rejuvenate careers
-
LOL, you leave out vladdy, rafalski, and others and put in Lilja
-
Stats only show so much, Ericsson has been solid since the last half of the 2011/2012 season. Kronwall is putting up points, but defensively he has not been good. Quincey, is well Quincey, you can say he's been better and more solid all you want, he is still a hazard on this team and he has not played very well. It's pretty sad when people are saying Kindl is doing well... Lashoff has been solid, Smith and Colo were solid before being injured. Huskins has been our most consistent dman by far and he is the one being scratched. Stats only show so much. Huskins, Ericsson, Lashoff, Smith and Colo should definitely be the majority of our d-corps when they are all healthy, but it won't happen by a long shot Ya, I watched it like 4 times, thinking wtf?!? He didn't block thee passing lane, he left Berglund wide open, he wasn't covering anything, kind of just floating. He definitely left howie out to dry

I don't understand Vladdy being on your 3rd pairing but other then that I like the lines, here are mine Federov - Yzerman - Shanny Hossa - Datsyuk - Zetterberg Homer - Primeau - Larionov D Mac - Drapes - Probert Kozlov - Hull Lidstrom - Konstantinov Chelios - Murphy Rafalski - Coffee Fetisov Hasek Osgood Howard Coach: Bowman (obvious choice) GM: Holland

Ya, I tried picking someone elses nose once, didn't work out so well I hated Tootoo on Nashville, mostly because he was doing his job, agitating lol. I loved the signing immediately though
-
I liked the idea of putting abby in the top 6 for a game, give him a chance to get going, motivate him a bit and see what he is capable of on a top line, it didn't seem to work, but hey why not give it a shot? Cleary however should not be anywhere near the top 9, let alone top 6.

GDT 2/13 GDT : St. Louis Blues 4 at Red Wings 3 (OT)

Ya well i was checking the score on my phone after I left, it was 2-1, 2-2, 3-2 blues, 3-3, 4-3 blues in ot. I was pissed, cause when I left we were playing good and taking advantage of a rookie goalie, and all seemed well... -
Exactly, people don't take this into account, or don't realize this, but it is so true. The fact that Howie plays as well as he does on nights where he stands around and barely sees any pucks is amazing on it's own
-
Even if Shehan is slower (somehow) he is also a lot more physical, which is something we need
-
take your head out from the statsheet and watch the game, stats wre not everything, Quincey is garbage
-
That wouldn't work, you couldn't have 4 or 5 arenas with big rinks and 25 with regular rinks, you would have to expand the current rinks, and too many owners would be bit***** about lost revenue, and we know Jacobs wouldn't let that happen. It is a great idea, and we wouldn't get shut down in the playoffs like last year

it's 3am and i should be asleep but I'm not tired, and I want to go to the gym before work tomorrow lol
-
Not so much "back into the wings" more as got them into the wings for the first time lol the person below me loves camping
-
I keep getting the easy ones lol, again I'm a chef, so make it myself, every time! Silk, or satin

Leave Lashoff out of this, he has been solid since being called up from the minors, let's give him a chance, 1 bad game is nothing to cry over. Quincey however has had maybe 1 good game since joining the roster, White was good last year and has been decent so far, but he's a third pairing guy. Kronwall hasn't been able to find his edge so far, he is trying to do too much, but I am not worried about him, he has been progressing, and will return to old form soon enough. Kindl, we should worry about though, him and Quincey have no place on our roster anymore
-
In his defense, the next year he got him going to 25 goals... just saying. I'm not a Hudler fan by any stretch, but he eventually got going, doubt it to be the case with cleary though, he looks to be done

Wow, no offense but this comes off as a spoiled brat writing this. We have become accustomed to winning every year as wings fans. The problem with the cap era is it's nearly impossible to have seamless transitions every time your stars retire/leave, and we have had 3/4 of our top dmen either retire or leave in the last 3 years. Unfortunately we didn't have any stars that were nhl ready in the pipeline, and we couldn't get the big signings to ease a transition. It is the end of an era, no matter what coach we have, unless our prospects become superstars, our 20 year reign of terror is closing up, you can't win forever. I've been lucky enough to see my team win 4 cups, most people can't even say they've seen 2, Babs has been an awesome coach, and he is not the problem. We have done awesome thus far with the team we have, and I am happy to be able to just watch hockey, win or lose, I love watching the wings. Babcock leaving won't solve a thing

I wish a wings game would start on time for once lol -
I still think Suter and Kronwall would have made a dynamic first pairing...
