How do you know? Maybe the wings will be a top tier team with a new coach. Babs Haas some questionable line combos, and his refusal to demote Ericsson after so many terrible mistakes every game was atrocious. How come Smith got no pp time, how come Weiss could get 3 points in a game and lose 2 minutes ice time next game? This team needs an offensive rh defenseman. Otherwise it's actually a good team that Babcock couldn't motivate to even start games on time or play a full 60 minutes -

Caps were tired, iced the puck like 5 times in a row. It's a shame the rags are playoffs kryptonite for the caps. Either way I'm happy, I liked both teams in that series. It's a shame one had to lose -

I don't know why everyone is praising the ducks as some almighty God like team, they are notorious choke artists in the playoffs it's just a matter of time, and any team, played the right way is beatable. The two best teams were in the east and the president trophy winner is still in the playoffs. I'm not buying into the Anaheim craze, sure they are playing awesome but they ARE beatable, as are the s***hawks -

Babcock had an absolutely stacked team Canada and still played a defensive system. Don't tell me if we had more pure goal scorers he would change the system. In fact he would probably play those guys with 4th line minutes -

No I'm not contradicting myself. our d isn't very good defensively, but we have a defensive minded system. That's my problem with it -

That's the problem they aren't good defensively so why not put more focus on forechecking instead of backchecking they will be less relied upon defensively if we pressure the offensive zone more We had 4 20+ goal scorers on a defensive minded team, don't know what you're talking about. -

I think the wings will still make the playoffs and maybe even flourish without Babcock, he is an amazing coach, but I think this team is too stagnant with him here, they're trying to be too defensive while not being very good defensively. They need to play to their current strength and that's scoring With defensive responsibility, but not sooooo much emphasis on defense
