I honestly don't think anyone will live up to their offensive potential with this horrible system in place. It's the most boring hockey I've ever watched. -
I doubt it'll happen but I wish this organization would look outside of itself for the GM role. I feel like everyone else will do it the way Holland does it or damn near close because they worked under him. Turning a bit into an ol' boys club, I'd rather just have a fresh start.

Yeah I think at 6/year you have to walk away from that. That's too much. If he can get that somewhere else, good for him. -

I feel like any player on that list 32 and under have almost 0 chance they even hit FA.

I don't see the problem. He wants a commitment from the team. If they give him a one year that doesn't put a player at ease and let him know he's valued. He can go somewhere else, get more, and probably for max term. I consider that a cancer in the locker room. And if that's true and he gets a one year deal, then deal him at the deadline for a decent return.

I think/hope Thornton will stay. Seems like Marleau has wanted out the past few seasons. A man with a gambling problem playing in Vegas. Yikes haha.

I think he will get extended, even though I wish he'd move on. I think there's a buddy system going on, and nothing is going to change with how this team is built until you clean house. Devellano, Holland, and the coaches all need to go. I hate to say it but it may even be a problem with the ownership. Obviously they don't see what's going on as an issue. The only way Devellano or Holland leave is if they don't feel like working anymore, unfortunately.

I think if the Sharks lose one of Thornton or Marleau they should sign him. I'd like to see Thornton setting up Jagr, and Hertl can play with his hero.

Could you imagine him feeding Mantha the puck? The guy is a set-up master. I kinda hope he stays with the Sharks though and finishes with them. I'd still take him in a heart beat though!
