I'm kind of surprised it was Tootoo. Sammy next in line for this please. What could it hurt? No one takes him and we are back where we are at. Tootoo has more use than he does at this point.

That's a great read! Chelios was my idol growing up. Loved watching him play and it was awesome seeing him prove everyone wrong in his later years. It'd be pretty cool to see him become something of an assistant coach for the Wings soon, although I dont think some of the kids could handle Babcock and Chelios in their ear

I'd have to agree. If I was a coach and Emery was doing that to my goalie, and everyone else was tied up, you bet your ass I'd be yelling at the toughest guy on my bench to hop out there and haul off on his face.

I'm more upset that we wasted a first round pick on trading for Quincey. If you ask me he's the most expendable guy on D. Smith was awesome for the Badgers and hasn't even played a full 82 game season. I'd say for his experience he's doing okay. We've been pretty spoiled with our defensmen and I think our expectations for players right away are a little too high.

This definitely looksl like an intentional cheap shot to me. I might be a badger homer, but he looks like he's looking forward and skates right at him with no attempt to even get out of the way. If he isn't at least fined that's a joke.

Good to hear that forecast for when I head there for some alumni lacrosse games...I'll be sure to kidnap Sammy and bring him with this weekend.

Can't say I really feel bad for him at all. Can't respect a guy that stomps on someone with a skate and puts a hit on Homer like that.

Watching this team growing up was so awesome, it's forever spoiled me as far as expectations for this team.
