Isn't there a limit to how much salary is on LTIR compared to the team salary total? That could be the reason why it's not used.

I wish I could watch Griffins games! I can't ever find how to watch them.

I try to watch the Sharks as much as possible. I've liked them almost as long as I liked the Wings. I think me being a little kid and liking sharks had to do with it. But the last few years they've been real fun to watch, especially Burns and Pavelski. I like watching the Flames young players as well.

I feel like the only reason it doesn't work is because they get stuck with two guys that have been offensive suck holes (Miller, Glendening, Cleary, Weiss, etc.). Sticking a young guy with no help doesn't help their production. I agree I'd like to see him top six though. Sheahan doesn't belong there.

True, it is early. I was really high on Chychrun and was hoping we'd pick him. Personally, I think he's going to be really good. I'll be paying close attention to Cholowski though since he'll be playing about an hour away. -

Funny we get Torchetti and then bring in a guy he benched. This guy is a floater. Honestly I'd rather Holland did nothing than sign Nielson and Vanek, so much for getting guys that won't get pushed around. -

Honestly I'd rather have Helm back than the majority of the junk that's out there right now about to get bloated contracts. So if this keeps him from signing Backes or Lucic or someone like that to a 5-7 year deal this is ok with me. Just funny how much he stressed change was coming, then he brings back everyone who was on the team last year except Datsyuk. -

It's honestly hard for me to say, since he's been playing with one of the best centers in the league. I'd be nervous he'd get here and not be able to live up to anything the Wings would give him. $8M a year is way too much. I'd be comfortable if he was making around 5 or 6 but I'm sure someone will overpay for him. -
