Benching Abby accomplishes nothing, he ain't learning anything. Ras meanwhile will have an opportunity to observe with a bird's eye view and maybe find some adjustments to make. He's been mostly invisible. -

I'm thrilled that Vanek is on the team. I think having a smart player like that around guys like Larkin, Mantha, AA, can have a much larger impact than people think. Pretty excited to see how Mantha comes along this year. -

Vegas is going to regress, horribly. Not exactly bold as far as predictions go, especially considering they're in the middle of beeing doodied on by the Flyers. But it seems like a lot of folks just assume they'll be good again and I don't buy it. I'm also maintaining a quiet optimism regarding this. -

I think probably Hicketts. I like a lot about Sulak’s game, including his mobility and stick work. Right now it seems like he can get a little flustered in his own zone, where as Hickett’s seems to thrive in that sort of situation. Feisty little bugger. With that said, I still like Sulak better in that I think he could have a bigger impact in the long run, with some experience.
