Comparing a second round pick to a top 10 pick, seems reasonable. They're not comparable players. Bouchard is "pretty good" at one thing, everything else has been highly praised. IMO their ceilings are similar, but I see one as having a significantly better chance of actually reaching it than the other. It's clear you won't be convinced though and are pretty single track minded, so in that case, Wheelchairsuperhero OUT!

I like Hughes quite a bit, but I'll take the guy who's capable of scoring at this point in time over Hughes' assists. You conveniently left out that Bouchard, aside from his sick stubble, can actually score a goal too.

No one is saying his skating is elite, but from what I understand based on reading several different reports on him is that his lateral movement is good and he's always in the right position because of his ability to read the play at a high level. We're not going to have a team of Dylan Larkins, no one is. If the only knock is that something he does is "only good, not great..", I think it's pretty telling. edit: I would also be okay with Dobson, but imo Bouchard's poise is a step above the other D prospects and that's what attracts me.

Alright, that seems reasonable. I'm having trouble finding much mention of his skating, aside from some complimentary quotes on his four-way skating ability and this snippet: 'Mobile puck moving D with excellent offensive instincts & ability to read the game, ISS Hockey 2017' The word mobile has me feeling okay about his skating. Admittedly, I'm not sure if you're even serious though.

I mean, he just lead his respective league in defense points and by all accounts has all the tools you could want. What more do we need, dank dangles?

Agreed, not sure where this low reward perception is coming from. Is it simply because he's not flashy?

This is pretty lopsided imo. Canadiens must feel like they see something in Domi that he hasn't shown yet. 9 goals in each of the past two seasons isn't exactly a great look.

I never liked Mike Hoffman's face and now I feel justified, assuming the allegations are true and he knew of course. That's pretty gross behavior and I'm extremely curious to know the motivation.
