This is pretty accurate. They're not playing terrible, but not great. Fourth line looks good with Helm, and admittedly Anderson. -

I agree that he needs to be better, but I don't think he's had a negative impact either. His potential upside is why I'd have him in over someone like Anderson, who brings virtually nothing. Though maybe you're right that it's a message being sent and is hopefully good for him. -

Not a fan of seeing Anderson in over Jurco, and Glendenning on the 3rd. Between Kindl and Smith, I would've rather Kindl sat, but neither has looked spectacular so I'll live. -

I agree to an extent. Though I will say, outside of the offensive game, I've liked how they've both played. -

I'm not sure that someone could go down any easier than that. Not sure how a hand to the hip for a split second caused him to tumble forward so vehemently. -

I don't want to see any of those guys playing 4th line, grinder/pk roles. It's not their game. If we were talking more along the lines of Callahan taking Miller's spot I'd sort of understand, though I'd still prefer Miller himself. I don't agree with a lot of the things Babcock did (say, using people where they don't belong), I just think Miller is a great fourth liner/PKer. edit: and Athanasiou, Nosek, and Larkin are all centers. Miller isn't taking a spot from them. -

I feel like Miller is really underrated around here. He has a specific role and he does it exceptionally well. Great PKer. Jurco doesn't fill the need Miller does and vice versa. -
I like the look of those lines, though I'd rather Larkin center and Z on the wing. Obviously I wish Jurco was in there somewhere but I'm not sure where to put him.

I was kind of hoping he'd be sent down and have a great season in GR, but maybe that's just me being overly cautious about his development, as I'm extremely excited for this kid. But if he's truly NHL ready and makes the team better, then awesome. Going to be exciting regardless. -
