Well, I was at this game. Between Howard and Ericcson I was terrified anytime it was in our zone more than 3 seconds.

While I'd rather it be Marchenko, he still may be banged up himself and Kindl has admittedly looked pretty good since he came back.

Big fan of the way Zidlicky played in the O zone all game. Always kept the play alive. I think having more right handers would make a bigger impact than I thought.

At first glance I liked this move, however thinking about it I'm going to have to see how the D pairings shake out before I can decide. If this sends Marchenko back down, I won't be too pleased. I'd have rather kept the pick and rolled with Marchenko. If it's a move to get TWO right handers in the lineup, I'm all for it.

Exciting game. Unfortunate such a good game ended with a flurry of penalties after it looked like at the beginning they were just going to let them play. Anytime Neal takes a stupid, costly penalty though I get pretty damn happy. I don't mind Nashville for the most part, but seeing Neal and Weber's faces that close together makes me get out the Hulk hands.

Fair enough. I'll admit I get extremely irritated when a call is missed. I generally get over it pretty quickly though when my rational brain decides to take over (sober brain?). I guess I just don't see many posters throwing around ideas of conspiracy against the Wings anymore and when you posted I felt like I was kind of lumped into that category. But maybe you're just referring to people you talk to outside of this board too.

I can agree with that. I meant that the overall number doesn't matter when you're just judging a call on an individual basis. If it's a s***ty call it's a s***ty call so to speak, whether there's 4 in a game or 8. Saying that the Wings are benefitting more from bad calls this year I'd say is accurate. Don't know why it is, the style of game they play?

I complain about the officiating sometimes but that doesn't mean I think there's some league wide conspiracy. I feel like you saw some posters say this and now stamp It on anyone who disagrees with a call. I generally complain about officiating both ways, simply because I hate the inconsistency. Take last night's game for example, I thought both PPs that led to goals were terrible calls, one was horribly weak interference and the other wasn't a hook but rather someone (Burns?) just taking Datsyuk's stick away. I also don't think the amount of PPs or PKs given is relevant here. Just because you only take 1 penalty in a game doesn't mean that penalty was a good call. This is about how I feel about it too. I try not to get too upset with bad calls because I know we'll be on the benefitting side of one probably the next game. It seems like based on this post you believe you're the only fan who's able to judge officiating objectively, lol.

On the second replay they showed it looked to me like his head struck the ice extremely hard, which had me worried. I was tired though so maybe I saw it wrong.
