Great win. Backes is one of my favorite non wings but man what a dive. Edit: oh and Mrazek is looking real steady out there. I think the more playing time he gets the better we're gonna see him be.

No, but I don't think he needs nor should he have to be. If the wings can manage to play some solid hockey and score some goals then they won't have to rely on Mrazek to steal games.Edit: what I'm meaning to say is that we just need him to play solid.

These are essentially my ideal lines. Maybe once Jurco develops his offensive game try switching him with Abby too. I love the way Abby has played lately and he's really found a good role but I still don't see him as a permanent top 6er.

I'm also going to say I think Miller is a big part of the fourth line's success of shutting down opposition top lines. So he should definitely be there.

Looking at those highlights I worry about that too. Then again I don't know how old those highlights are and I never watch any Griffins games. With the points he's putting up I imagine there's more to him than just that slapper. Could anyone tell me if he's also got an above average wrister, or is he good at finding the quiet spots for recieving one timers?

This is about how I feel about it. I thought it was a bad goal, which didn't surprise me because he's a young, aggressive goalie who hasn't played much lately. Don't think he gave up, though I think he may have realized the futility of trying to superman his way back into the net and pull a groin or whatever Gustavsson did to himself to stop a sure goal. Either way it was a bad goal, but I think benching him or whatever is unnecessary, if anything he needs to play more for his development.

I was wondering if I was the only one who thought that looked like a dive. I definitely think that warrants a warning or something.

I've come to appreciate Drew Miller a lot more this year, which is kind of funny considering offensively he can't buy one.
