Agreed. I keep hearing that Cleary and Abdelkader make space for Datsyuk and everything but really they're just dancing against the boards together not doing much, suddenly Datsyuk takes the puck and has no one to go to, or if he does no one who's about to bury it/make a good play. I like Abdelkader, but not there I don't. Second line isn't producing anything. -

You're probably right, the officiating which you agree was terrible had less of an impact throughout the entire 2nd and 3rd periods than a single play that probably happened because hey, our momentum was ruined and the kings was boosted. I've watched every game, as I'm sure a bunch of others have, and I never once wanted to blame the refs. This one was obvious. -

Uh, wrong. While I can safely say I'm usually against using the refs as an excuse, to say they didnt cost us this game is ridiculous. They absolutely deflated our teams momentum, especially considering they wouldnt call squat against the kings. Hockey is just frustrating to watch these days. All these penalties just ruin the game. -

It sure looked like sedin initiated a hold, got his glove caught and abdelkader got a penalty. That was a terrible call.Edit: if both got a penalty, I'm a little less angry about it. -

I love how everyone is harping on Howard and abdelkader for that goal but no one is pointing out how easy the Canuck walked in front of the net. Lashoff over committed to the wrong side. -

White and Kronwall playing terrible, our second line just looked confused together, and Cleary still getting premium spots. What a mess. At least I felt okay about Quincey and Kindl this game, which is rare for me. Oh and that 4th goal on Howard was terrible. I know it was 2 on 1 but that rebound control was pathetic, and then he just lazily opened his legs. And I'm a Howard fan, I'm not just hating on him. He should sit a game though. -
Nooo, don't trade fil, I like that guy. Seriously though I do think we should keep him. Maybe put him back with Z though. I think both fil and dats need a legit shooter.

I'm actually impressed with how we're sitting in the standings considering our terrible special teams in a penalty heavy league. Seems like they always manage to pull a win out when we need it, even if it's an ugly one.

No, I love it. Seriously though it is frustrating. Especially when we start games strong. Still maintaining some cautious optimism though, I think they'll make the playoffs. -
So admittedly I'm not that knowledgeable about all our prospects, so I'm curious. Why not Nyquist? Thought for sure he'd be more of a regular this season.
