The salary cap is going to be lower next year. Guess what? NO ONE is going to give Flip 5 million a year. I can almost guarantee that. If anything he will sign here for around 3-3.5 million. I highly doubt anyone will give him more than that.

Is Lindy Ruff an option for next year? I'm not panicking here and not trying to overreact but Babcock's been here for nine years. Is it time to move on and try something new? What about Ruff? These twitter accounts are all wannabe's in my opinion. Until someone like Bob Mckenzie tweets it or a more reliable source I'm not buying none of it. It would be really disappointing if this guy turns out to be a bust. The hype around this guy is pretty crazy.

There is really nothing Kenny Holland can do at this point. I'm sorry guys but Detroit is not that "sexy" team it once was. Players are not really "dying" to come here anymore. Lidstrom retired, our key players aren't really that young and we aren't serious cup contenders this year. Iginla basically chose to go to Pittsburgh, that's what people aren't really understanding, he had a short list of teams. Just like the Parise and Suter situation, you're a fool if you think that was Holland's fault. Shero yes is a great GM but lets see where he is next year when the cap has screwed him and multiple players may leave elsewhere. If the Pens don't win it this year he won't look like the "genius" everyone thinks he is.
