Wow the speculation on this article is way off. No way is Glen off the roster he's pretty much the most useful player outside of our top six and blash definately knows this. Also you're not gunna have Jurco, pulk or cleary centre the 2nd line during practice. lines are Abdelkader-Zetterberg- Larkin Tatar-Richards-Nyquist Franzen-Shehan-Glendening Miller-Andersson-Ferraro What concers me is having Jurco and Pulk out of the lineup. Thats the way it's been looking all preseason. Glen was extremely effective on the 4th so I don't exactly get this.

Yea that's definitely what it's looking like. Everything seems to be pointing to towards him starting in the NHL. He's definitely been given the most opportunity at least.

It looks nice but I don't know how I feel about throwing Larkin on the wing. He said he hasn't been on the wing in a long time and he'supposed to be our future 1C. I know the switch isn't massive but it feels a bit unneeded at this time.

Well there is a whole other thread dedicated to the guy and I think there's alot of people that are excited to watch some hockey again. I know the Franzen, Cleary, and Kane threads have been exciting this summer but I'm more than ready for the season to start.

What's with this about babs not wanting offensive minded D-men? when we actually had a nice blue line a few years ago a ton of production back there and take a look at team Canada half the shots were from the blueline. He switched it up when our blue line went to s***. Thing was babs didn't believe these guys could be up in the play and still provide the defense that we needed and or lacked. Have to look at these players as a team and not what would necessarily benefit one player to develop.

Maybe it's Jurco Callahan Pulkkinen? I thought Blashill had a thing for each of these guys and more so than Miller, Andersson or Ferraro. Although it does make alot more sense as a fourth line. ^aslo proof we have far too many forwards.

Little harsh. Pretty sure he just wants to get her the right Jersey and not the one that gets stored in the back of the closet a month later. My buddy got a Schenn jersey right before they traded him and I haven't seen him wear it since... then he got a Lupul.... he aslo has a raptors jersey with his own name on it I found.... some people don't make the best decisions. Although for her I'm sure it will be fine.

I tried to tell myself I liked playing the games but I soon found myself simming more and more games until I was just simming the whole season and concentrated on building my roster. I think the games got repetitive after a while while building didn't.

No one should have a problem with the situation Khan explained. I'm just surprised that Cleary would consider playing in the minors. That's kinda placing himself further away from the organization than if he took a front office job. Must be really embracing that leadership role.

I remeber lstenting to one game where Pulk was up playing for the wings. Announcers were praising his AHL performance but the rest of the game they kept comenting how weak his skating looked at this level. But pulk isn't the same type of player that Tatar or Nyquist are. His strength is to get open and fire that puck which is a big need for the wings. Getting open in the NHL is gunna be alot harder than in the AHL. If Pulk is used right he can be effective but for much else he could be a disaster so I'm not sure how to feel about em yet, guess well see.

I don't know about cheap.

Saad has been on the top two lines quite a bit this season and has put up worse numbers than either Tatar or Nyquist. The rest of chicago's third line doesn't produce nearly as much so that's hardly a good comparison. When we've been good this season we've had all lines scoring but lately no one has been clicking very well at all.

Compared to the other trades that have been done is this a great deal. the 3rd in the deal is nice.

I hate these lines that first line is dreadful. Abby has been great but his role is more geared to the datsyuk zetterburg line. I remember most of the kids started to gain confidence when they played on the third line together for a while. It was later that they took it up a notch on the top lines. So I'd like to see.. Tatar-Datsyuk-Helm Zetterberg-Sheahan-Nyquist Pulkkinen-Weiss-Jurco Miller-Glendening-Abdelkader

Tonight's game is crucial for columbus. Currently they are sitting around a bit more than a 50% chance at making it. But if they lose tonight they drop 17%. If they win we will drop ten with them gaining ten giving them a better shot then us. So it's pretty much a must win for both teams.
