As the guy who's about to take the faceoff, I always check if my goalie is ready before I step in. However, that only works up to a point since the ref CAN drop the puck without you in there if he thinks you're sandbagging!

LOL, it was Mule. Bert is serving it because Mule had to get repairs for the play that wasn't called a penalty!

Anyone know what Mule did that was so terribly terribly unsportsmanlike? I'm stuck with the Sun Sports feed.

I went back and took a look. The quick whistle on the first one definitely should have been a goal, but the offside was on Anderson. If he just moves the puck a few inches to get it in the zone instead of playing with it on the blue line, that whistle never happens.
