Bert with another one! Bounces are really going for the Wings tonight! Then the Bolts get one. Had to happen sooner or later.

Wings lead 1-0 at the 1st intermission. Wings committed an ugly giveaway almost directly in front of their own net, but the Bolts weren't able to capitalize on it.

Columbus takes the game 4-2. Fake shoot-out to come. Wings win the fake shootout. Zadina scored the only goal.

Renouf puts one in from the right circle to tie it up 2-2! Tie game lasted 35 seconds as the Wings yield another goal to make it 3-2 Jackets.

Barber gets a breakaway and buries it to make it 2-1 Jackets!

No scoring in the 2nd period, so the Wings continue to trail 2-0 going into the 2nd intermission. Wings are being outshot 28-14 so far and they'll carry 1:13 of power play time into the 3rd period.

Wings fail to kill either of Columbus' two power plays and go into the first intermission down 2-0. Public service announcement, the Blue Jackets are providing an arena feed for this game. If you're watching it and listening to the commentary and the Jackets score a goal, you may want to mute it or turn down the volume. The goal horn is way Way WAY louder than their voices.

Wings also lose the 5 round shootout. Fabbri had our only goal.

Hawks add a ENG to get the 6-4 win. Fake shootout (after the fake game?) to come. Edit: Mickey definitely doesn't see the point of the shootout. And here I thought Belle Tire was OUR thing.
