This is proof positive that Nashville Predators fans do a MUCH better job at caring about and supporting hockey than people give them credit for.

Alfie has played forward his entire career. While him as a defenseman could work, we can't sacrifice the depth he brings to our forward group, as I don't think moving Smith to forward offsets that. We have a great deal of talent that either A) is injured (as with Alfie and Weiss) or B) isn't producing the way they should be (as with...everyone not named Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Alfredsson or Bertuzzi). As far as Del Zotto goes, he's pretty much another Kindl with a little more talent. Mistake-prone and isn't providing offense this year. I've never been a huge Kindl fan, but Del Zotto probably wouldn't be too much different. We can't afford to being in MORE defenseman who are prone to brain-farts.

I'd love to see what Smith can do at forward. Gets rid of one half of the biggest problem with our defense and we don't have to take him out of the roster. Worked for Brent Burns.

Feaster wants to load up on prospects and draft picks, as he has finally begun Calgary's rebuild. Any deal for Cammalleri would begin with Nyquist or Tatar and a GOOD draft pick as the centerpiece. That's too high a price for another aging player with a high price tag. We don't have the cap space to get this deal done without shedding salary that we don't want. None of our removable, undesirable contracts belong to players that have any shred of trade value, especially not to a team like Calgary that plays a fast game. They don't want our garbage for a player like Cammalleri.

Per St. James on Twitter, Cleary will be in and Tatar will sit against the Caps. I really hope we didn't want to score any goals on Friday...

Why in the world do we perpetuate this ridiculous discussion? Filpulla is gone and he's never coming back. He will NOT sustain what he has done thus far. He never has. Weiss is here, now.
