Jurco was playing on a scoring line for most of the season. Not in the top 6, but the third lines he was on had guys who could score a bit.

I get it, it's sacrilege to say anything bad about the best announcer EVAR!!!! because he's been in the booth forever. That doesn't change the fact that by the third period he sounds like you're sitting next to him in a bar. He's not as good as he used to be, and a lot of times he seems to fall into complaining about the refs and weak penalties, chuckling when the Wings get away with something he'd yell at the refs for, dropping a catch phrase, complaining about broken sticks, and waxing nostalgic about the good old days when you showed respect for another guy by "feeding him some lumber" when he was going to hit you. He's better between periods, but during the game I think he's slipping. If you disagree, or want to just say "It's Mickey and he's awesome and if you don't like it go piss up a rope," fine. BTW, Madden was bad his last couple years, and Pat Summerall was the boozer in that duo.

I'm not distracting anything. He's not as good as he was, he sounds like he's drunk half the time, and I don't think he'll be in the booth much longer.
-
If he doesn't drink anymore, he sure sounds like he does.
-
He had a scoring role and didn't score.
-
Jurco has been hitting, and that's about it, and even his hitting is trailing off a bit. Andersson has been better, which is disappointing because I thought Jurco was ready to be an NHL player.
-
Mickey is old and likes to drink. The older he gets, the worse he gets. I really don't see him in the booth much longer.
-
Franson is big right handed and hits. He's also a turnover machine, 14 more giveaways than the horrible Jonathan Ericsson. He'd help but not so much he'd be worth the price.
-
Fedorov spent years wanting out of Detroit. After Mr. I. and Devellano are gone, maybe. I don't see it happening of either of them have a say though
-
13 and 40 both. They're generational players.
-
Nobody other than fans said anything about waiving him. He's the backup Mrazek will be sent down

Every team lets players walk for no return every year. I don't understand the idea that every pending free agent they probably won't bring back has to be traded. They still have some value to the team this year, it's not a good idea to trade them just to get something back.

Gustavsson might get a 6th rounder if they're lucky. Send the kid down now and in the playoffs they can bring him up if GR gets knocked out or Howard gets hurt.
-
Those guys must have come on board later. Last I saw the guys at the bottom of that list were the most prominent names.

Do we need a trade to get our offence going ?

How about being an ass to someone who copies and pastes the work of others "reads between the lines" to pull stuff out of his ass, and constantly complains about his poor health? -

I don't want to bring in a d unless it's a clear upgrade. Petry isn't. I'd rather go with what we have and let a rookie play. -
A lot of the guys played hundreds of minor league games and maybe 40 NHL games. It would make sense to sue the other leagues instead.

Nasty Business-Roussel ejected for cross-check to McQuaid's throat
DickieDunn replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
Looked more like he was trying to shove McQuaid and got too high than an intentional shot to the throat. -
I don't see him bumping anyone out of the top 4, and like others said he shoots left. If they get a D it will be a clear upgrade and/or a right shot.
-
Its a joke because almost everyone I've seen attached to it is a career minor league player who had minimal time in the NHL and the lawyer who wrote the brief knows nothing about hockey and said something about Gordie Howe being dead.
-
Given their success this year it's hard to argue they're not contenders. IDK about Leddy, but the Bruins wanted to send Boychuk to a team they thought was going to be not so good.
-
Waht does he bring that Detroit needs? Nothing.

Legaseive must have burned through his money if he's signing up for this cash grab.

Watterson draws a C&H strip every day and throws it away. He also did a guest stint for Pearls Before Swine a couple months ago.

He's just another jackass who says things just to get attention, whether he believes it or not. Technically he's right, but the Original 6 doesn't mean the first 6 NHL franchises, it means the 6 teams that were around for years before expansion to 12 teams.
