I had a coach tell me never to go down if I get hurt in the upper body. Because that doesn't have anything to do with my skating ability.The only time I stayed down was when I fractured my femur/tore a bunch of muscles/MCL, and I still tried to crawl off. I was 14. His flailing around was ridiculous. -
