Quick, in my humble opinion is one of only a couple of top ten goalies that I think are actually elite and not just a product of the guys in front of him. He makes saves that shouldn't be possible. And I've been so high on jurco for so long, it sucks to see him struggle this much. At some point before he runs out of waver exemptions if he hasn't gotten going, they're gonna have to send him down. Like even compared to last year, he almost seems like he's regressed.. Some of the things he tried, like his first goal, the spin o rama backhand, and all the creative stuff he was trying and now he's just fitting the third line role. I get the whole simplifying your game thing, but when you've got those skills, I don't want you to be simple, hang some jockstraps from the rafters...

That's not to diminish nestrasil either, Cuz he's not a bad third liner, he seems snake bitten too, and his positioning is pretty damn good too but Jurco seems like a larger part of our future than him, and if he develops good chemistry with helm then our third line could be dominate once he gets going. Tonight on that wraparound attempt from helm, where Jurco drew the hooking call, they just played off each other really well... But then again so did nestrasil, you can see him lurking up ready to jump in the play or fall back....theyre honestly not a bad checking line, they do a lot of good things together which will only get better the longer they're together. Unfortunately they're not scoring, but Jurco hard in that sophomore slump, and being dominant in the ahl would probably do wonders for him.

I dont necessarily think Nestrasil is outplaying Jurco, he's just heavier on the puck.But I'd be more inclined to sit nestrasil over Jurco just because of the upside, and its not like its a huge deal, but if he feels like he's fighting for his spot it could mess with any confidence he has left right now. Hes in the right spots all the time, hasn't been making bad turnovers, isn't a liability, he's just snake bitten right now, I think once they start going in its going to be hard not to keep playing him. But he's faster, and him and helm have caused terror on the forecheck.

Welcome to lgw.I think its because he's anti skill. He's fast enough to drape over almost any player, and hes always in good position. He hits, probably chirps more than the cameras show, but when you're super skilled and used to dominating everywhere, it gets frustrating having a fourth liner treat you like an amateur.
