Its on fsd. I'm honestly super excited for this game... We get to watch the reunited kid line, see how well Weiss is coming along, we get to see the nose line which by all reports has been doing well, we get to see Callahan probably in a larger role, plus we get to see how cleary knees are doing.. Not to mention mrazek is starting and playing two full periods. Even if we get messed up, that's a lot of regulars for the leafs and our best line is generally going to be our third line(hopefully). I'm just excited hockeys back and being televised again...

He's young and cocky. Wait until he's about 35 and godwilling he's a solid top pairing d man and all that cockiness will have turned to confidence, and if he still has his smile everyone will love him. We just don't get to see young cocky kids too often in our organization. Young players are one thing, but they usually don't speak enough English to annoy us. Ha. Just my opinion.

That's what I'm saying. Even though you know the odds are generally low for them to make it to the nhl, anderssons track record has to excite you, especially when were getting these kidzillas.

I hope so. I'd love to have another holmstrom pan out. I don't know how well they scouted the other late guys, but it'd be awesome to have vahatalo, ehn, or kadeykin pan out as top six or even top 9 players. Having a 6'3-6'5 center would be amazinggggg to have with the possibility of having Jurco, tats, Nyquist, mantha, or pulks on the wing. I know its highly unlikely any of them become stars, but its hard not to get excited about them simply because theyre hakan choices, who are huge.

Monday Night Football.And xgames was talking about adding major league gaming to there list of EXTREMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sports. Ha. That was the talk last time I was around a gamer. I don't know the progress on that, BTW, But call of duty tournaments on ESPN wouldnt surprise me. TV folks is trying to keep up with that thar Interwebs.

I definitely see Callahans chances as being greater than Ferraros, who just seems to be flat out bust. But you gotta think Pulks would make the team over either of those two (despite his waiver eligibility) because of his shot and he showed some decent grit in his stint with the big club but hed probably have to take a spot on a scoring line though, he didn't seem to have the best set of wheels. And I'd love to see a 4th line of miller Glendenning and abby. And as much as I'd love to see Jurco playing alongside pav, i hope to hell weiss can thrive with nyquist and franzen because having the kids as the third line was almost unfair last season.

I want to see the sedins playing for different teams at some point. And I think andersson should be traded, there's enough teams out there who could use a guy like him for the fourth line and penalty kill, and he deserves a chance to be in the lineup every night but we have too many kids that are better than him... It also goes without saying I think cleary needs to go, but he could end up recapturing some of the success he's had in the past, crazier things have happened. There's a lot of potential players who could/should be moved if they don't make the roster, but there's so many variables that factor into who will be expendable and trade-able that its any ones guess as of now. If they actually get away from the whole "ties go to vets" situation, there's plenty of people we can package up and try for a marginal roster upgrade or some decent picks. We have so many kids who should be getting a shot,enough vets who we could move on from, and enough middle tier players who could use a change of scenery or just aren't worth keeping the kids down for that you would think some moves would go down, but who knows..

Im just so damn excited that hockeys back, and have they posted if the preseason games are going to be televised on fsd?

Once athanasiou gets used to the pro game, hell be on the second line, but I think he starts on the 3rd, he's to fast and skilled to only get fourth line minutes.

I think if ovi actually gave his all every night he could carry that team... Maybe not to a cup, but definitely a lot further than where they usually fall at. He's fast as hell, strong, and has an amazing shot. He could make an impact every time he stepped on the ice if he wasn't only focused on scoring.

Honestly, I see the face off rule getting out of hand. How many times last year did we see our first center get thrown then have 30 seconds go by as the ref deked center men out before dropping the puck. I think its going to get crazy and there will be wayyyy too many penalties because of it. And most of the time its the refs. And the tripping call thing was coming... Too many botched/iffy calls had been occurring on plays like that, plus the want for higher scoring games.

(But it'll most likely end up being z-d-abby) 2a/2b-(kids)young, fast, aggressive, skilled, and they compliment one another so damn well. (Start them as the 3rd line and if/when they start dominating like they did last year then move them up to the 2nd) 2a/2b-if Weiss isn't healthy or can't cut it then move franzen to center and insert Alfie, or mantha, or pulks, or (gag)cleary. 4-what our checking line should be. Its honestly hard to find places for Glendenning and miller sometimes because of the glut of forwards, but miller is a damn good 4th line winger, and I really really like Glendenning. He gets under peoples skin, he's fast, physical, and he's not a liability playing against other teams top lines, I just hope to hell he finds a scoring touch. And obviously I don't want cleary to be on the roster, and Andy deserves to be traded to a place where hell be able to play every day. I'd like to have a much cheaper Alfie but I don't see why they'd sign cleary if they thought his back was going to be well enough to play. And I know he'll end up in the lineup eventually regardless, but I won't be happy if Jurco isn't playing opening night...hes so effing versatile and I'd love to see those three left together for as long as we have them, the things they did together was incredible. It still baffles me why they weren't put together at all in the playoffs. Edit. Forget everything I said. Step 1.Resign Alfie Step 2. rotate Abby, cleary, alf, and franzen on the top line with z&d, and pick the rest of the lines out of a hat after every period, because chemistry scares Bike Mabcock.. If they do sign him, there has to be something in the works for kindl, and lashoff so a kid can rotate in. Which even if its just for a late pick I'd be fine with as long as that team remembers we gave them a decent 7 and a project in kindl when the deadline comes around.
