I don't like him, but don't let his countless dirty and cheap plays cloud your judgement. He's big and quick, and he has an awesome shot, with an amazing release. He's garbage because of the crap he pulls, but hes definitely not without talent.

I love glens style of play, but helms WAYYY faster, and believe it or not has much better hands.Also. when helm was younger he was more physical, glendennings more aggressive than physical. If that makes sense. Edit. I absolutely LOVE the way he plays. He's an awesome fourth line/shutdown center. -

Given that the wings and pens are 1&2 in man games lost, you could see no suspensions were coming. And I don't advocate any shot to the nuts, and I wish it was a different retaliation, but honestly its about time someone on the wings stood up for themselves. -

Completely agree.He plays tough minutes, he makes some dumb mistakes, but its bound to happen playing that many minutes. I'm not a huge fan of his cap hit, but he's clearly the whipping boy of lgw. All in all, there is better #4 d men out there, but theres also a lot worse. As for smith. I think he should be playing forward, but it developing defensemen takes a lot longer then forwards, we need to be patient. -

Honestly aside from the few exceptions most fights are just to get some energy for the teams. In the NHL you see fighters pat the other guy on the back or see his lips mouth something supportive. They're putting personal safety aside for their teams, and know its dangerous. Those two were literally exchanging solid punches to the face for how long? It's awesome they were happy for eachother, who cares they acknowledged the good scrap after. -

So im too poor to afford hd, and for some reason Fsd+ is only showing the wings game on the hd channel, the pistons are playing on both Fsd, and fsd+. I imagine I COULD always drink less beer and get an hd cable box instead..... Ha Nevermind. Thats a terrible idea

Does anyone know a good site to look up advanced stats on our players, I say take miller out but he is a superb penalty killer and without him, glen, and andy I'm a bit worried about our pk options.

Agreed, thats 17 million ifs.And I know hes a good penalty killer, but I'd sit miller before jurco if we get healthy enough to need to. Jurcs got size and skill, and the physicality he plays with imo is severely undervalued. Plus The kid line is too valuable together, breaking them up isn't worth the risk.
