Ha. We were having problems with that last night. Its amazing how many forwards we have that should be in the lineup. Even more amazing that we haven't dumped any for picks or bundles them for a cheaper body. Granted kh probably has tried.

Z pav bert Nyq helm alfie Jurco sheahan Tatar Abby glendenning eaves But who do we send down. Cuz Cleary, Sammy, and miller can't all be on the roster yet. I mean do they wanna risk losing any of them in case we need em. And if we recall them after the roster limit is lifted does their salary go right back on the books with no penalty? We need to do something. Cuz the kids on my stated lineup have been too valuable to send back, without a noticeable drop off in effective play. If nothing happens before sochi I fear sheahan and jurco will be gone to make room for Weiss and one of those three. Not to mention what they'll do when Anderssons back, cuz hes great on the pk, unless theyre just ir-ing him to make space for one of the other guys. Our rosters so crowded. Its crazy to try to think what theyll do.

That's where i hit a snag. You gotta keep him. And i like him and helm together. So we have to lose sheahan or glendenning. And I love the sheahan line. But glendenning mixes it up more. It's tough.

Mama.Just killed a man. Put a gun against his head. Pulled the trigger now he's dead. -
But that (more or less) was the fourth line. I mean. They were supposed to be. But clearly helm and bert , no matter how well helm carried them (even though they were like negative 3? Plus) idk if babs meant to play them to try and spark them. Of to show kh why not to bring em back. Either way. And once again....they can't use a compliance buy out on weiss. A regular buy out yes. But it'd cost us close to 2 million dollars a year for eight years aside from two years where its like 600,000. Cap hit. That is.

So assuming pav and alf come back friday like im hearing. What do you expect we do? Cuz the fourth line of miller glendenning Eaves is an amazing grind line. Miller could be replaced, but who would you move without disrupting the chemistry Were building. The line sheahan jurco and Tatar was awesome. Keep them together as long as possible let them build as much chemistry as possible because it could be a future second line. Helm needs more effective wingers. But could you play helm at wing with pav. And Alfie. Cuz that would be a good line. Speed and grit. Smart. Smart. Smart. With skill scoring touch and a shot. I'm just trying to improvise because I dont wanna get rid of sheahan or glendenning As for nyq z and Abby They're building chemistry. That's a beautiful second line. Or should we throw z d and Alf together for a secondary line(or third line) of Nyquist helm and Abby. Thoughts?

I always seem to agree with your posts more than disagree, but for the sake of that point I'll say what I don't agree with.Yes. Kids generally seem to be more inconsistent, but this is a new era of "kids" jurcos game is consistently good. He may have had a bad game against the blues. But when he's not creating as many chances as he's used to he jumps into a different role. See tonight. Tatar was the scorer, sheahan was making plays, and he started laying the body when he realized he didn't have his game on point like he should. Which is why that line needs to be kept together at all cost It could be a great future second line, or adapt into a solid first. They all understand they're not all going g to be flawless at doing one thing every night so they stick together. Which is beauty, perfection even, in the parity era that the salary cap has brought about. Yes were seeing ups and downs. But they've been together how many games? From what I've seen of your posts, I think you get that point. But that being said. With a full healthy lineup, we can't keep them all. So I'll agree with you. For completely different reasons. I just see the future in the fact that all three of those players have been able to step into literally whatever role they're needed to play given the circumstances, and adapt within the game, to fit the game plan. And with the exception of Tatar, their d game is almost perfect. He's learning. But imo they haven't put jurco on the pk just because they want him to be on the offensive at All times, until he needs to back check. Dont crucify me for the comparison but its like they did with pav when be was first called up. And again. I agree with you on a lot of stuff man. If clearly and Bert could megazord together, and become a super person, it'd be awesome. I feel bad for clearly. But he's hurting this team... Maybe he needs to start getting injections in his knees before playoffs. And Bert. Talented. Slow. And call me superstitious, but karma doesn't allow you to end someones career then go on to fruition. I'm rambling. But we need our core. Plus the youth that's shown themselves more helpful then the veteran depth.

A good leader does what he has to to make things fair/give his team any advantage he could.Lidstrom got away with calla just because hes was nic freaking Lidstrom. Steve y got calls for high sticks when he was shouldered high. Subtle interference used to be generally accepted things, there were also a lot less huge hits from behind then because you could grab them and ride them into the boards without getting called for holding because both players and refs both knew it was safer that way. Changing of times dude. Our teams trying to grow and adapt to a lot of changes in the league, while also dealing with roster shakeup and injury trouble, while attempting to stay competitive. I'm ranting. Ha Chea -

In all fairness, they are great players and they didn't have a roster of hall of famers to learn from. They were drafted high and counted on from day one. Chicago's success of late is because of them, but you can't compare them to pav. And z, kronner or the wings because our character has always been exemplary.... But passed from generation, to generation. Its obnoxious the amount of greats we've had here, they're learning on the fly. And they're still young, but none of them, ever disrespect our franchise. Hossa is kind of a different story. He's a journeyman scorer that's already played for us, let him try to grab onto whatever excuse he has for losing to our lowly struggling, mostly ahl-er team.. -

And z will strike down upon thee with great griffins and furious forwards those who would attempt to poison and penalize my wingers..... Ha. I'd go on. But chea. -
And when i say bad. I mean the weakest of the three.

I'm incredibly happy about the win. But not enough to call it a turning point. We still have too many bad contracts on the book to ice our best possible roster when everyone's ready. But I'm not gonna over invest in a team that looks luke world beaters one night, then two nights later gets pushed around like children. They looked like they understood the urgency of the situation, like the young guys finally figured out why the wings don't panic. The sheahan line was amazing. Jurcos throwing that big body around, charging the net, tatars in double figure goals, and sheahan looks like he's been here for years, in a tougher era. The fourth line was amazing. Miller looked bad with two guys who were in gr when we were healthy. and our first line had its moments. Lot of great things, lots of dumb things. They're getting used to eachother.. Hopefully babs sticks with these lines until he gets bodies back and then only disturbs what he has to with what's coming in.

And a pretty good slap shot. All reasons why I question why they gave the extension to miller and not him. I get the concern about him staying healthy when the contract was signed. Now it just seems like the wrong choice... Franzen- hossa type thing on a fourth line scale. -
Do you think it was the embarrassment of clearing waivers, or the confidence of dominating in gr that helped eaves pick his game up?

Eaves and Bert both scored high glove. Jurcs looked good, but he should've kept it on the backhand and roofed it. -

Oh god. Eaves shot. That stint in gr must've really helped his confidence. Or made him hungry since noone claimed him. ggus looks awful. Clutch is exactly the word. -
