So cabreras Out for at least six weeks with a calf injury, and avilas playing first base. He looked pretty decent today, made a nice catch over the railing... And JD Martinez is going to get a huge pay raise this off season. -
Bridge contracts are still a real thing.And I do agree with what you're saying about his market value, but the point of signing bridge deals is to take them out of their restricted years, which sets them up to maximize their earning potential because they can either go to UFA where players like him get over paid, or he can use that as a bargaining chip and hell get closer to his market value from the wings. I still think he'll sign for under five for a couple years.
