With AA missing and Witkowski&Booth signed, we´re for sure aiming on 2018 top 3 draft position whether you want or not, it´s going to be good old times rivalry with Avs! AA will get top minutes in AK Bars and could boost a little bit for next year assignment. Couple last years I´m just guessing, if it could be worst and every single year I´m surprised, that yes, they can do it.

It´s the same bottle. Higher money you have, higher ice time you will get. Asking for more money means also asking for more ice time and responsibility.

I was pleased with his effort and energy. At the end, last year was great school for Larkin that he won´t play every single shift with Zetterberg and he has just to keep going to achieve. I don´t mind his poor numbers. Ras - Larkin sounds like a future. Larkin needs some hockey iq with good hands on his left side.

As per czech interview, Šulák is considering to stay in AHL for 17/18 if it´s possible. If not, going to Finland.

I´d go with ltir if Holland was able to manage reliefs reasonable way, not ´hey, we´ve got space for some crapy UFA!´, same way how Franzen´s relief is working couple last years. Btw it´s the reason why I´d prefer to trade Franzen first - LTIR isn´t actually off the books, it´s relief-able, but costs that much needed flexibility. We can´t realy trade-up picks with taking some crapy contract. At the end of the day, I guess it doesn´t even matter. We´re going to suffer the cap hell till the end of 20/21 season when Helm, Glend, Hank and Weiss are going off the books. Maybe we can try to trade his contract during 19/20 post-season, depends on how AA/Larkin/Mantha contracts will be.

If we´re speaking about cap hit issues we have, then Abdelkader / Nielsen + always Franzen.

You need the full investigation and real scouting report for Tippett and I believe Wings stuff fully considered. (but I´m not saying Ras was BPA and that Ras is better choice than Tippett). I´m not saying these guys are so high only beause of McLeod, but history knows comparable examples, like last year 3rd OA Dubois, who had that tremendous season playing with Svech-Lazarev. I saw couple of their games (observing Svech) and found out that he´s not THAT good actually - I was pretty surprised later then with CBJ pick.

Great, somebody else already translated that for me. I can keep sleeping in the office though. Anyway, I like that self-confidence part. There´s huge difference between american and czech educational system when it comes to self-confidence, it´s one of the most toughest part for czech and slovak players leaving to NA.
