Well, let´s see, going to be resolved asap obviously. I´m just afraid of situation trading him at tdl with low value. If it must happen. Seems fair to our cap hit, not to Tatar though. And he knows he can get a worthy deal elsewhere.
-
There will be always some players past their primes and players who will be signed till past their primes and youngsters coming to their primes and drafts who will join the league in 4-5 years. Ok, trade Tatar, get some 2nd rounder. That guy will be nhl player in 2022. Mantha will be 27 years old, so we´re going to trade him then, because why to create damage in the future past his prime?
-
I can see a mismatch in what you´re calling 2-way fw, actually is doesn´t mean that he must be strong in defense. Reality is that Tatar is one of few players, who can drive puck out from the D-zone and then create scoring chance. He´s far best possesion guy there since the moment Dacjuk left. And it´s not even close, just compare Nyquist who is not able to get around his own blue line.

No, it´s standard ice, they started with new ice preparation on 29th of June per their pages. I´m little bit shocked, it´s very small town and their local club isn´t playing regular league. But I can see they have full ice schedule with training camps till end of August.

Yes, I believe he´s trying to build the team comparable to Ducks or LA.
-
While he´s not able to get some generation talents like Pens&comp., it´s his only other option.
-
Gotta catch ´em all!

Like twenty 0,5l of some stupid austrian beer last week. Some czech lagers on Saturday (like ten half-litres). Very tasty wheats on Sunday (like five) from local brewery and the same on yesterday. I´m just guessing what to do on today evening.
-
Where exactly they are from? West or east part? Anyway, I like Johnson´s deal, would like to see Tatar there as well.
-
If he can bring top pick for next year draft / top D prospect then..
-
Well..Yes. It´s hard to say while I´m 50 percent Slovak, but it´s the reason why I´m saying so. I´ve already stated that couple times here - I do NOT like Tatar with his attitude. Although he´s right in this case (asking for solid money and term).
-
Slovakian. By the way, there´s a difference between czech and slovak attitude in general, Tatar is typical example. ...and we´re trying to not improve.
-
Oh well, it´s obvious he wants a fair deal, when he can see Abdelkader, Helm and others with their money and terms. And who gave them such a deals?
-
Selected NO. It will be like a dream becoming true.
-
I just hope they know what they are doing with Ras. Anyway, teplate was quite visible this draft - big body scoring centre / D replacing Ericsson. Let´s meet in 365 day to celebrate Dahlin / Merkley, if not young Svech. I believe we will be there for one of these guys for sure.
-
I hope it´s true, we need some real top Sergachev/Theodore/Sanheim-like D prospect. And these are expensive.
-
I´ve got your point and admit edit was not fair, I believe we´re on the same page at the end of the day.. (reason why I quoted just that part is that I don´t like people (it´s not you in your quote) underestimating Hossa and his role because he´s not that first page guy).

Official Expansion Draft/NHL Awards, Crosby love fest thread.

Yes, now his NHL rights belong to VGK. But he signed two year extension in KHL through 17/18 hence must stay there. Same case like with Sobotka who announced return to StL last year, but actually returned this year after KHL season end. -

..needs to stay in KHL for next season, btw -
Long time considered to be one of the best 2-way forwards of couple last decades.

As per the last czech interview - yes, he´s living there. His sons: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=283908 http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=283907

You´re right, it´s not bad, but not enough for real top guy. Enough to get Sanheim (without pick) from Phila, but not Theodore from Vegas who don´t have backlog yet.
-
No way Vegas will let him go, unless we´re able to setup some real pack.
-
Hope you´re right, better than XO and I still believe Mraz could get some value sooner or later.
-
Rumors saying MAF will be claimed from Pens with pick, Garrison from Bolts, Theodore + pick to protect Vatanen/Manson, Haula for not taking Dumba/Scandella. Maybe more to come. I expected them to have solid D squad, but looks like they´ve found Ds as a most valuable negotation chip to obtain some prospects/drafts. It´s obvious, backup goalie market is not that tight. Hence - with MAF in their hand - sounds to me we should expect maybe XO claimed by Vegas with little bit higher probability. What will be fail for Holland, loosing another promising guy with non-wanted Mrazek staying. Why not send them 3rd rounder them for taking Sheahan?
