We aren't the most popular location because we haven't been considered an up and comer that will dominate the league or a lower end team that will vastly overpay players. In the off season we were viewed as a team that would likely miss the playoffs and we have a GM notorious for being a conservative bigger (even if that isn't necessarily true). With how the season has gone and I hope will continue to go we should be at least considered a strong team with the potential to be a contender. This will make us much more attractive to free agents.

I have a question. If we were to acquire Yandle who would you pair him with? Ideally Kronwall but then you have to make one of them play their off side. What if that doesn't work well? Then you habe to either separate DK and Q or put Kronwall or Yandle on the third pair and have three even pairs. That might work but wouldn't it be a lot easier to acquire a RH defenseman.

Let's all stop debating and realize that KH should put all of his effort into changing Arizona's mind and acquire Doan for Tatar. It's going to put us over the top for sure.

I think Kronwalls offense has been lacking because he's had to play more defense with Ericsson struggling and possibly trying to give Mrazek extra support Howard wouldn't need

It'll be interesting to see who gets the start against the islanders. I would say it's a crap shoot but given the last few games we might as well give McCollum a chance

I agree it wouldn't help mrazek to be sitting on the bench and it's way too late in the year to try to establish a tandem so he should just go be the starter in the AHL
